wacom is starting to lose its grip. everyday more and more competitors are breaking the mold
Thanks for the review Mikey! I just ordered one of these earlier today and i needed to see a review from someone I trusted
I think I've been drawing digitally for nearly 15 years and I still have yet to get my hands on monitor tablet like this or a Cintiq. Each and every time I get close to having enough spare money to buy one, something always comes up! So frustrated!
But anyway, awesome review from an awesome artist. Couldn't think of a better artist to do a review on art tech like this, grats Mikey and thank you for the info on this product!
Yeah its tough trying to commit to art when having a day job and trying to manage your life too!
I got this same ugee from a former college student for about 200.00. I have not done physical drawing or digital art since 2005. After spending some time with it to get accustom to learning to draw again. To be able and see what i'm drawing while guiding the pen is amazing experience. I've incorperated it into my streams on twitch for creative and 0 regrets buying it even used! Seening Mikey draw on it motivated me to use it every free chance i get. Thank you for making this Ugee and For this review Mikey! Look forward to practicing and watching your how to draw videos.
Thank you for posting this review. I had been debating on whether I should go for this tablet, or a Huion, and you helped me decide this one is better suited for my needs.
I wanted the option to switch between mouse pressure and stylus pressure, and the Huion I looked at didn't seem to have that option, so thank you for including that mention of it, because that was my deciding factor, aside from ease of use.
finally a company recognized mikey's talent and let him do a product review, I've been saving up for tablet and honestly this just became the #1 contender
Damn, this review was for sure the most helpful out of all the ones I've seen so far. I've been contemplating about getting this tablet for months now and I think now I am actually finally ready to purchase one! Thanks for the detailed review!
Mind LT Yeah I did, and I really like it tbh. The screen is really big, the setup is pretty easy and the screen displays colors nicely. Only thing I noticed is that the driver sometimes won't work correctly and doesn't recognize the screen, but my Wacom drivers did that as well do I don't mind. I personally don't mind the shiny surface either, some people were criticizing it because the Cintiq surface is matte. It's still accurate and that makes the colors only more real, I think. So, uh, yeah, if you're looking for a graphic monitor that doesn't cost you 1-2k, I'd totally recommend it.
I cannot tell you how long it will last you, but I've used mine for about 3 months now and haven't run into any problems yet.
"oh there's mistakes"
*flips pen*
"oh wait, I'm not using wacom"
*goes to tools*
Just don't stop doing traditional art videos! They're just so good!
I bought a pen display from monoprice about a year ago. i love the 22" screen size. I bought a monitor arm for it so I can position it as I please and save some space as the stand is similar to the one you show here.
Really love this can't wait to save up to buy it thanks mikey
Hey Mikey
I wanted to know what kind art style is it that you draw
And what kind of books did you use at the start for practicing drawing
Bonus points for Goldeneye game music :D
Excellent review as well ;)
Im getting this soon , after 7 years of digital art, i no longer will have a basic wacom tablet!
I'm actually saving up money for this to this specific tablet. So thank you for doing this. (Still watching) Also great great taste in music.
THANKS FOR THIS REVIEW :D im going to get this tablet in couple weeks I reckon
i love how mikey just tossed all the cables and stuff aside😂😂
hay Mikey teach us how to use that photoshop to draw ?
I have their HK1560 monitor and I absolutely LOVE it. I don't think there is currently any other product line that comes close to the cost to performance value I've gotten from my 1560. These are legit drawing tablets.
love the 007 N64 music Could be wrong but i think thats what it is lol
i definitely might give this a try in the future
I'd just like to say I've been using a Ugee 2150 for a year now and absolutely love it. I did however notice the stylus sensitivity was a bit softer than the wacom intuos and surface pro's that I was used to and I found the tablets drivers leaving a lot to be desired in its sensitivity control capabilities. This immediately almost caused me to return the product until I discovered Lazy Nezumi Pro. It's a windows program that lets you really fine tune the tablets sensitivity settings. Not just Ugee either, it works great with any tablet so long as the program you paint on is supported. It has a 30 day trial so feel free to try it out regardless of what kind of tablet you have. With Lazy Nezumi Pro I was able to, in my opinion, replicate my excellent wacom and surface pro 2 experience on a much cheaper piece of hardware. Obviously I highly recommend it to anyone who already owns a tablet and would like to really fine tune their sensitivity. Enjoy my fellow artists! lazynezumi.com/
Great review thank you!
Mikey, really love your tuts and reviews and I'm probably gonna be a Patron soon.
Maybe look into reuploading this one without the music? It's very distracting!
I love how you have the Menu music to 007 golden eye in the background lol
i actually have this Monitor. sometimes the calibration can be off and it can make things feel weird when drawing. but of course you can re calibrate it at anytime and change the pen setting from pin point to relative. also make sure the task bar isnt hidden or it'll pop up anytime you get close to the bottom and get on your nerves.
i remember when he threatened us with that same knife...ahh the memories😂😝
heres your like for using that awesome music
Thanks for the review :)
legit just watching your tablet reviews to see the drawings you do in them lol
I've recently purchased it and it should be being shipped soon but I'm just wondering, I will be using firealpaca, which doesnt really matter, but I'm just wondering; is the pen pressure automatic or can it be toggled off? I dont really like pen pressure with my own art as I am heavy handed.
Theres a work around for it not having hotkeys on the tablet itself. People use either a Vive VR controller or a Nintendo Wii controller mapped to the PC with the hotkeys the would use. its fairly simple to do and makes it so you dont have to reach for the keyboard.
great video and i agree with you about going from paper to digital but my main problem is using a ruler. how did you get around it? thanks?
Nice , if I didn't have a surface pro 3 &4 I would buy this.
Hello, I just purchased the Ugee 1910B graphics tablet and I am having some trouble.
When I draw on Paint tool Sai, Clip Studio, or any art program for that matter my pen doesn't seemed to be aligned to my pen when I draw. I am not sure why its doing that to be honest. When I start to draw its showing me its about say 2 inches from where I placed my pen on my screen.
I just upgraded from Bamboo tablet to be able to havea screen to draw on, and at the moment I am a little disappointed.
Thank you in advance if you reply to this :3
This is another thing I might consider to get. I don't know exactly what, but I'm thinking one of these or something like a tablet computer like Eve V (Surface Pro competitor).
Does the pen tip and the mouse cursor is directly on point or a tat runaway like how xp-pen does?
do you have a link to where i can find your art Mikey?
Quick question: since you say haych-d for hd, do you also say not-point-five for 0.5?
I have Waccom Intuos tablet. I really wanted to try and get a Cyntiq after getting to use one during my internship as a graphic designer, but they were too expensive. I don't like the Intuos as much as I do the cyntiq because I can't get used to looking at my screen instead of my hand. I also usually feel like my hand is going to fall off the tablet as well as there isn't mouse scrolling on the Intuos like a normal mouse to make the area that you use smaller.Maybe I'll give this a try for a while.
This dropped to around $320 in price on ebay, so I'm going to think about it. The only other tablets in the market that includes a screen at that price are the 10.1 inch displays like the XP Pen Artist 10s and Pablo 10.1 displays.
Keep it up!
yassssssss mikey
Hey Mikey, did you do a video on the middle girl of the start of your video?
Good review! I've personally been working on a Ugee 2150 monitor for the last 7 months and love it! It's a lot more intuitive to me than your standard graphics tablet imop. And the 2150 model is a 21" monitor with a HDMI connector and a max resolution of 1920 x 1080, so you can get some really nice high resolution images with it. Plus you can find them online for as little as $399, which is a LOT cheaper than the Cintiq companion. I highly recommend this brand if you can't afford the Cintiq but are wanting to move up from your standard graphics tablet!
7 months deep! have you encountered anything about it worth knowing that a freshman like me with one might want to know?
mikeymegamega well probably nothing you haven't already noticed and figured out yourself but it's a good idea to do the 9 point calibration in the Ugee control panel. And different graphic programs react differently to the pen pressure, so I just leave the pen pressure at the lightest setting in the control panel and setup the pressure setting in each program separately. This has given me the best pressure sensitivity response in each program imop. But of course this is all standard stuff, so like I said, probably nothing you hadn't already figured out smh lol. Hope you enjoy working on it though! I know I've really enjoyed mine ;-)
mikeymegamega oh, and I totally agree that it would be nice to have hotkeys buttons on the monitor smh. That's why I decided to get me a Razer Tartarus gamer keypad and setup my hotkeys for each program on that. It's easier, for me, to use than the keyboard and it helps keep me in the creative zone ;-)
for a 19 inch drawing tablet this is pretty cheap compared to the others, should i buy this or the huion gt-191?
m new in graphic designing world ..
so is it necessary to have gud processors n ram like pc..if yes tht whats its spec
Does it have to be connected to a laptop to be used? I've never used digital tablet and I'm really curious
will you ever make a manga
One Day! still not earning enough to go part time on the day job so its still on the backburner!
mikeymegamega if you ever do a Manga, I would definitely read it. For the 'plot' joke. But seriously, I'd read it.
mikeymegamega
Hey Mikey
I wanted to know what kind art style is it that you draw
And what kind of books did you use at the start for practicing drawing
Rexillion Uh, he uses a style called "mikeymegamega's". There's no such thing as defining an art style by a "name"
I can't believe it's just for 299.99 dollars with coupon code: UG1910BCP

thank you Mikey.
i have one of these but the tablet settings doesnt show up anywhere
Does it heat up after some time ? Does it work with a windows surface book stylus?
PROBLEM!!!
I have the issue that the sensitivity is too hard, I have the soft pressure but it is too hard to make a dense line, does anyone has this problem
How would you comapre this to the 21.5 inch version?
Must i connect it to a computer to get it set up or can I jsut start away?
Are there any tutorials for editing pictures in photoshop?
This is the tablet I have! The only thing I don't like is that it's THICK and heavy but I'm not complaining.
i loooooved it
I have flipacip and it crashed. My animations went missing and my mom said to look for a drawing tablet under 500. I an considering this one. My mom said t look at reviews and stuff and I am now positive this is good for me :) this will impact great on my main channel. My mom Is positive I will be successful with my art. She says that she can see through the future 🙄
Do i have to connect this drawing tablet to my laptop?? Or is it mobile?
Which would you recommend between 1910B and HK1560? And Do they work with SAI Paint tools properly?
They both work with SAI from what I've read and HK can work as a stand alone monitor I think. The only thing with HK is that you will have so many cords lying around. It needs a power cord and needs to be hooked up to turn on.
hey guys, look up "usb programmable buttons" for some ideas. I have a small programmable keypad right next to my pen tablet.
So you would suggest this for someone going from pen and paper?
I have been looking into a lot of these monitors lately, as I want to get into digital drawing and painting. So, hopefully someone can answer this question. What exactly is the advantage of the Cintiq? Looking at the 13" Cintiq, which is around $800 US, compared to this tablet; the only advantage seems to be a 1080 screen. But a 1080 screen that is 6" smaller diagonally doesn't seem like enough of an advantage to spend twice the money. I have also found other monitors with 1080 screens that are larger and around the same price point as this monitor. So if there is someone with experience who can tell me what I can't see in all the specs, I'd greatly appreciate it. I just want to make sure that what I end up getting is something I'll enjoy thoroughly.
Does the pen pressure sensitivity work for clip studio?
Got hype!!
See the product...
So cool...
See price...
I cry...
see the calendar...
I see the light...
Coop Wolf it's only $400 on amazon, and I say only because compared to a wacom tabelt which can cost as much as $2000,this Is really good.
KrobTheGreat 1 ya I just check it... it good price... and they also got graphics tablet... I really like that one coz I can take it anywhere and the price it's also good..XD...
Is tablet compatible with computers running on Windows 10 or iOS 10.12?
I loooove your art omg i'm not kidding ;-; i wish i could have a tablet to draw digitaly but my art is bad so i can't xD
nice but, actually, this loud background music is a bit annoying
the xp pen artist22E is basically the same thing but with hotkeys on the side
I wondering to buy it but I need to know if you need a computer to use it??
I keep getting the red light for the ugee 1910b i don't know why
just to clarify, is the ugee a tablet that doesnt need a computer to work, or is it a monitor you can draw on?
This is an interactive display that has to be hooked up to a desktop computer or laptop to use
So, I know this was years ago, but I've honestly, personally, have been struggling a lot with this same tablet. I bought it from a friend back after my graduation when I had the money to do so, and he gave me most of the items from the original delivery. However, despite me being able to still draw/write with it, pressure sensitivity doesn't register, and I also for some reason can not get files to work correctly. I tried to download the most recent file for my tablet, and it downloaded successfully, but will not run. It says "Cannot detect tablet. Please close program and plug the tablet in and try again" or something along those lines, when the tablet is plugged in. I'm looking for help from any youtuber / anyone who has windows and can aid me. (I use a laptop, but it still works for pen tablets, no doubt.)
Well, found something to save up for.
Would this tablet be compatible with iMac, since some of them don't have a HDMI port ?
Yes, it is. Just search up the tablet and read the description of it. That should tell you all you need to know.
tutorial digitally from now on or still on paper?
What do you think of this tablet after those 4 months?
where i can finde ugee19 10 b driver??
this was perfect for me but it isn't sold in my country. (well it's not like i had enough money to buy it anyway)
Does it need to be on the stand?
How come this got no HDMI ouput ?
1. Is that music from Perfect Dark? 2. Did i just get you sued?
Nice review :)
I really wanna buy this tablet but I still need a pc and stuff and yeah that’s kinda expensive 😂 idk what you actually have to buy for it to work so I’m don’t think I’ll get it until I’ve looked into it more
what piece is it in us / USD's?
Does it work with Adobe Flash
Is this my best option at its price range?
tablet settings not showing
Do you need anything else besides the tablet itself. Also what about drawing programs. Im kinda confused
just have a vga or dvi port and get another drawing program like fire alpaca if your looking for a free one
Jumpy Footi you can get an adaptor. I use a laptop too so I suggest getting adaptors
The 00:00 picture for your patreon is.. Interesting
does it have hdmi?
if only i can afford one
1min 19 in, just wanna say that you may need to look over the music editing for this, it mixes a bit with your speaking and can sometimes be a bit distracting from what your saying. You may wanna look at sidechaining it a bit with your voice or finding some music with a subtler sound to it and decreasing the volume to prop yourself up a bit
Nice
please draw more vagabond
keep the bag away from babies or small children. "I say keep it nearer" you sir earned a sub
damn the beat reminds me of golden eye 007

Hey Ugee! I know this tablets are ment to be more of a budget but still professional option of a tablet, but that boxing really is ugly. I think a little better looking box is not that expensive to produce. I wouldn't consider to buy it based on the first impression the box gives.
Hi dear, thanks for ur reminder. We realized that the boxing is not prettty and we are going to perfect it when we release the new product. Anyway, thank you for ur suggestion. 😘
Thank you dear.😘😘😘
Look what I just found. It's for $ 279.99 with coupon code:UG1560CP, www.gearbest.com/graphics-tablets/pp_595448.html?lkid=11319193, I bought one!
official ugee I'm extremely confused even though I saw the review. So if I were to buy this tablet, I would have to connect it to a Windows desktop or laptop in order for me to draw on it?
