The diesel asta in my family got a big engine issue after 60k kms and is now at service center.It was purchased in 2017 March.But it's a very comfy family cruiser hatch.
I have same model... Driven 88000km.. Absolutely brilliant car ... Very good pick up .... Still giving mileage of 24kmpl (diesel )
Except minor repair no major issues ever..
I have 2014 model same car,it gives only 12 km mileage
What should I do
@@360paradisekashmir2 i don't know exactly but i never did anything special to get such good average.. Just i kept doing regular servicing in hyundai company workshop always... Only i drive my car and no one else... I kept tyre pressures maintained and regular wheel alignment and balancing too.. But im not expert in engines or techniques of fuel efficiency .. I suggest you to talk to some automobile expert.. They can suggest and guide you well. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

6:00 , SAME HAPPENED TO ME AS WEELL FOR MY GRAND I10 PETROL. SERVICE CENTER TOLD ME CLUTCH IS WEAR OUT(AT 35K) NEED TO BE REPLACED ASAP. THIS IS BEFORE 1ST LOCKDOWN. MY CAR IS RUNNING GOOD TODAY CLOCKED AT 50K. NO ISSUE IN CLUTCH & MILEAGE.

Nice review... 100% true about chor company service center... Clutch is always problematic.. I changed twice in last 9 years... Service cost is high.... Long drive gave me some 23kmpl

There is huge difference between both... You should have mentioned it...
1.1...because 1.2 came in facelift

Engine ki cc ko 66cc badaya gaya.
Mileage to pahle bhi 1120cc engine me bhi yahi thi.
Jab engine dusra hi xcent me dena tha to kam se kam 1300cc ka dena tha ya i20 ke engine ko laga dete.
Bhai ye batao aap to, ki xcent users es 1186cc engine ko sahi kyo nahi mante bolte hai yah engine 70-80 hajar ke baad problem karta hai, aapki report kya hai?

This is an all time hit car. I've been driving since 2017. Haven't spend a penny on it except tyre & battery replacement. Please expect SUV like performance & output from this car which is unfair. No car us bad as carmakers spend millions on R&D before launching it in market, this is actually beyond understanding of common ppl. If your driving habbits are good, any car would give good performance.
I agree.. Hyundai cars are for Family cars. If you need good comfort Hyundai is best.
I have driven both petrol and diesel variant of this car, pertol variant feels better to drive than diesel one. Steering of petrol variant has better feedback than diesel one which is pretty light. Also suspension is hard in diesel variant as compared to petrol variant. So petrol Grand is more comfortable to drive.
what about the milage.. im planning to buy a second hand diesel one because my daily running is arnd 50 to 60 km..
Cluch life depends on how you drive my zest has done 5 lakh km somehow it is still running fine but not it is started consuming oil

information for the owner of the car
i too owned grand i10 sportz diesel 2015 model
1. clutch hard problem is due to clutch slave cylinder - which costed around 3000 and labour charged nearly 500-900 at service centre, but now baby part (main rubber kit) of the cylinder is availabe at the service centre which cost only 150 + labour. 50 - 60% clutch hardness can be reduced by the above replacement rest of the hardness comes from normal wear and tear of pressure plate of clutch.
2. mileage of this car in city 19+ and on highway is 22-23 kmpl (i measured several times by tank to tank method) my car too clocked at 97000km
3. mileage depends on how you drive your vehicle and type of engine oil used (it made lot of difference), go for synthetic engine oil like castrol edge 5w40 or shell helix ultra 5w40.

@@varunsrinivas323 clutch plate has been changed twice till now and tyres too multiple times . plastic parts rattles a bit while on bad patch of road .

I recently bought used Hyundai grand i10 Asta 1.1 crdi .. 2014/15 mfg/reg. I gave it for service they quoted around 12700.. I preferred synthetic oil. after service and little bargain it came to 11400. that's really huge compare to Marathi. No other repairs nothing.

There were many unnecessary things due to which your service cost increased.
I still have the same car but i get it serviced through local mechanic in which they only change engine oil,air filter,oil filter and some top ups.This all costs me around 5000 or 5500 only.

I think I 10 diseel engine quite refined being a 3 cyclender it has 1.2 but only good for City driving not punchy engine as such 👍
Bro...1.2 u2 crdi has better in gear acceleration in all gears when compared to swift diesel...no turbolag nothing....i easily cruze at 140-145 km/h on highway...only issue is steering feel and feedback..

Hyundai services are very poor. They overcharge you. They literally scare you and ask for not required jobs. My service advisor says go for throttle body cleaning every 5k km even in an urban area riding in climate in Haryana. Also they take lot of time. They miss out on most of the things that you expect when you are paying a premium amount for service at the service centre.

@@nishantkocher8090 breaking is not so good....engine is natural aspirated....if u want performance car don't buy.....if u want car for city purpose....it's a best choice.....build quality is not so good..... as usual petrol car maintenance is less.

Its a very mis informative video if anyone seeing it .. owner using the car is very dumb .. I mean if you will give that owner a bmw he still wont enjoy it cause he doesn't know anything about car and driving ....
I have clocked 2.7 lakh kms in 8 years and there is no such issues ...
He is lacking punch cause turbo needs to get changed after 80k kms and he hasn't even changed his clutch system ...
My car is awsme and I rarely drive it below 160 on highways it gives me that much confidence....
yes steering response is not so good but you can upgrade your tyres ...and forgot about mileage its 28 tank to tank on highways on average and not kidding
