Look "Those who are alive and remain", simply put, only means those of us who have not died "YET" will be changed.... The body is no longer of use and will perish....We will be changed, we will die, even though we won't be shot, hung, drowned, died of starvation, sickness or anything physical that kills us in that sense, but the mortal body dies, that's why it's called a mortal body, it is not immortal....
Looking for an excuse for the esoteric mystery is a waste of time... The physical mortal body will die, even if we experience no pain in the change.... We go from "MORTAL" to IMMORTAL in the twinkling of an eye and the body will slough off, period....

There's a lot of confusion here because many are reading there own private interpretation into scripture & are not allowing the scripture to speak for itself. Hebrew 11:13 These ALL DIED! They are waiting for their immortal bodies which are given at the return of Christ. Shalom to all those truly in Christ and are waiting for His return..
This verse is referring to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; not Moses, Elijah, and Enoch. Verse 5 is clear : Enoch WAS translated without seeing death. You do err in not studying the Word. 😮 Only Enoch and Elijah were translated without seeing death . Moses did die after seeing the promised land from Mt. Nebo. Satan fought Jesus over the body, but Jesus (AKA :Michael) rebuked him. Moses is with the Lord in Heaven. The rest of us sleep until the Resurrection. 😊

Enoch states what his translation was in his book of records. He states ihe was translated in the Spirit-Just as Paul was caught up into the 3rd heaven and returned. @jamesstroud8003 Hmmmm....well, the KJV Bible says that Enoch was caught up to God and was no more. People looked for him in the places he had been accustomed to going, but Enoch was not there. He wasn't to be found because he was now in Heaven. I've read the book of Enoch, and it is not in harmony with the rest of scripture. I doubt seriously it's authenticity, as many others do. There was a multitude that ascended to Heaven with Jesus near the time Pentecost. These were raised from their Graves after Jesus' resurrection. They were seen of men. When Jesus ascended up to Heaven for the last time in the sight of His apostles, He took with him the captives from the grave. These very well could be the 24 Elders in Rev. 5 that were Redeemed among men and sit around the Throne of God. There are a very select few that are in Heaven with the Father and the Son, but the rest of men sleep in their dusty beds waiting for the Resurrection...Amen.
Moses died. Read Deu. 34: 5, 7. This passage in Hebrews if you read 11: 5 it says by faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God translated him. So he did not die. Elijah did not die either. Read 2 Kings 2:11. Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. He did not die. The ONLY 2 that did not die. Sounds like you can’t read scripture at all let alone interpret it. You must be filled with the Holy Spirit to have the correct understanding of scripture. Are you truly born again?

Elijah was taken some time after he dealt with Ahab and Jezebel.

Yes, they think they qualify for the rapture because of their piety and goodness.... Only Christ knows who will be taken up to meet Him in the clouds as He is on His way to earth to set up His Kingdom.... It will not be because of their goodness and piety, but due to His grace, and His sacrifices and He has chosen certain people to fill offices in His coming government.... It is His doing and His alone, nothing we have earned at all... Our physical bodies will not rise at all, they will drop away just like everyone else including Enoch and Elijah, who both certainly did die....

ALL of Revelation was written to the people of Israel, not to us living after the cross. And all of Rev already has been brought into fulfilling at the cross of Jesus. 70AD. IT IS FINISHED!
The biggest revelation of all times was given to Paul.. Christ within! Col 1:26,27 'the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in (ín!) you, the hope of glory!
Then John 14:20 + 17:22,23 tell us that Jesus has made us óne with Himself at the cross. It's only the carnal mind (the natural man) that still pictures distance and separation.

I often wonder why Melchizedek is not spoken of more. He could still be alive on Earth. I read everything I can find about him and can only wonder and wait.

@@lorettafenstermacher1531 I don't know that they told what happened to several ppl in the bible. Like Mary Jesus mother, Joseph step father to Jesus, Joseph with coat of many colors, lazereth and his sisters etc. We assume they all died unless otherwise noted. Peace

So does this mean that dead people’s souls aren’t in heaven right now? If their spirit is also being raptured at the same time as ours, that means it’s still here on Earth? What about people who are destined for hell? Are they already in hell or does their soul not get judged until the rapture when those who are still alive will be judged? If this has been answered in another video please share the link.
There is a place called hades. There are two states in hades. One for the people who excepted CHRIST and another one for the people who did not. This is a waiting place until judgement day. One place is called Abraham's bossom and the other is a place of torment.

Yes I agree , from my understanding there is two places were the dead wait til the second coming . There’s one area where the souls of Christ people wait for him and then there’s hell the place of nashing of teeth and were the worms never die .

On the day of universal judgement, bodies will be given back to each soul. Until then, souls already get their partial reward either in heaven or in hell. But many souls have to go through a "path" of purification in order to enjoy the beatific vision of God.

Yes it is true that Jesus was speaking to Elijah and Moses on the mountain but who are we to 2nd guess why that was when we have all we need in the scriptures.We'll know all about it all by and by.
@shelbymays5741 Correction - It was John the Baptist that was beheaded. The John you speak of was one of Jesus's disciple. John the Baptist was a forerunner to Jesus Christ who prepared the way for Christ's ministry on earth

Moses did die for a short time & God raised him & translated him. The only two who did not die & were translated are Enoch & Elijah.

Moses died... but his body was reclaimed from Satan who fought (and lost) against Michael the Archangel for it. God restored Moses and holds him in heaven alongside the later taken-up Old Testament Saint, Elijah. Neither of these two prophets completed their ministry; and so both must yet return to Earth to finish their work. This will occur during the Tribulation. The two are the Two Witnesses. They will preach and punish rebellious Mankind; making water turn to blood and causing drought. They will be murdered, and then raptured. Therefore, neither was truly ''raptured'' - both were taken in a mortal form. It is likely they are kept unconscious in Heaven except for moments when they are awakened for a special moment, such as to be present at the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ.
Enoch is the only human of whom it is said that he did not die, but was taken. We are not told what happened to him after.

@@bobbyallen7977 In the Book of Jude it (literally) says that the Archangel Michael contested with Satan for the body of Moses. The Gospels also provide the account where Moses was with Elijah on the mountain at Jesus' transfiguration. So clearly physically real was that occasion that Peter wanted to construct little shelters or 'booths' for the other persons with Jesus. In no way was Peter or the others hallucinating or seeing mere visions of past prophets.
@@james0013 To be fair, you are correct. But I do not think Elijah has been transformed into glory just yet. The prophecies of Revelation demand a witness who can create drought (signature miracle of Elijah) but this is being done by a mortal, as this one of the Two Witnesses is killed in Jerusalem and resurrected from there. Who else could this be but Elijah; returned to Earth specifically to finish his ministry?
