🤦♀️ the 7-9 month range is a CRITICAL DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE FOR A CANE CORSOS STRUCTURE. This is when their body starts catching up to the legs. They should be putting on AT LEAST 10 pounds a month, NOT LOSING. Crazy part is, this is usually the time where most people f up & bulk them up TOO QUICK for their structure. At this point, I personally am not bulking. I’m still working on mastering commands, leash/crate/car/kennel training, desensitizing, socializing, stimulation. At 7 months though I am starting endurance-stamina training. I have 5 acres so we’re walking the property. By 9 months, my sons start taking them out with the 4 wheelers & they start learning how to patrol the property at faster speeds. I personally dont add any weighs until they’re at least a year old.
I really love the Cane Corso but need to do more research on them. I hope they do more videos on him. He already doubled in size since we saw him. I also took note of what you do.
They’re an awesome breed if you get the right one suited for your needs. I personally choose them because if you get the right bloodlines, they work well in trained packs. My breeder has a farm in Serbia. His pups are born & raised outside, true farm bloodlines. You should see their faces when they come inside my house for the first time 😁 they have no clue what a house is, how doors or stairs work…they instinctively want to go back out to my barn with the livestock.
@@tiffturg lol. So far an XL bully is winning. I've been spending time with a neighbor dog. She is 3 and beautiful. I was cooking pork chops. She walked right up to my back door and waited for me to tell her to come in.🤣🤣
I have a question do you have any tips for behavioral issues? With a dog that has been abused and starved because my family recently just found this dog and it charges at both of our old dogs if there’s any food involved and we don’t know what to do because we can’t shout at it or hate it because if it’s bad past any tips would help please 🙏🏼
You should try to locate a behavioral specialist in your area. You can try reaching out to your local shelter & see if they can recommend one. Also, that dogs needs IMMEDIATE VET CARE. A stray, starved dog could have fleas, parasites & intestinal issues going on that need to be addressed. If that dog has heart worms, YOUR RISKING YOUR OWN ELDERLY DOGS HEALTH & LIFE. In addition to that, what you’re trying to do is very dangerous! You are risking the safety of your family, your pets, yourself & the other dogs as well. The best thing you can do for that dog, is to turn them over to your local shelter. They have all the resources needed to help that poor dog & you did your part by helping with the rescue 😊
That’s not necessarily a fair statement….most people don’t know to PROPERLY TRAIN a dog. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH SAYING, HEY I NEED SOME HELP. What is wrong, is knowing there’s a problem training your dog & DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT.
@tiffturg thanks for your feedback. That may be a true statement in some situations. Dogs need time, attention, and bonding with THEIR masters IMHO. It's just unimaginable for us and our dog 🐕 family. Raising pit/shepherd mixes with youngsters around doing their part teaching/training/handling these beasts. 🤙
I know homeboy was passed like a mf! I'm glad you & Stan are willing to help him out.
Good man..finding a way to make it work!! Love this❤
