- Unanswered prayer directly relates to how we pray and to whom we pray.
In this episode, we highlight the key principles Jesus taught about prayer. Rather than simply directing our prayers towards a vague, impersonal divine entity, Jesus emphasized the importance of addressing "Our Father" - the personal, knowable God. Jesus taught His disciples to align their desires with God's will, saying "Your will be done." This suggests that authentic prayer is not merely a list of requests, but a means of conforming our hearts and minds to God's purposes.
Furthermore, Jesus linked prayer with the practice of forgiveness, teaching His disciples to ask for forgiveness "as we have forgiven our debtors." This underscores the idea that our words in prayer must be reflected in the way we live. Jesus' coupling of prayer with fasting, indicating that these two spiritual disciplines should go hand-in-hand.
Ultimately, when we pray in the manner Jesus taught, we are not approaching God as a magical genie who grants wishes, but rather as the merciful and kind heavenly King and Comforter, whom we can know and with whom we can have a meaningful, personal relationship. This deeper understanding of prayer, grounded in the teachings of Jesus, is presented as a vital aspect of the Christian spiritual life.

I pray for any one that is really praying for something for a long time, I hope it will come through but don't limit yourself keep pushing, if you need a husband put yourself out there, go out more and keep showing up for yourself, If your seeking that job or working towards that house or wherever never give up hope or stop praying as Kingdom Warriors said and find the joy in waiting because whenever all you need comes through it will be in double potion. I remember praying for things and I said to God am sick of praying but God never give up on me he gave me more than I ask for and it seems like it was forever but the blessings comes in abundance, God will not limit you when he is blessing you!

Aaaaah! especially that of your spouse. This scripture comes to mind as I read your comment, 1 Peter 3:7 "Your prayers are answered according to how you treat your wife. If you dishonor her and fail to treat her with great worth as an heir (partner) in this life, your prayers will be hindered."

You should sis. Get yourself a bible and a prayer journal. When you read the scriptures, get other perspectives from other translations if needs be. I use the SOAP method below:
Scripture - Read and write down the scripture as per the verse of the day.
Observation - This where you meditate on what you have read. If you don't understand, read other translations and ask God to give you a new perspective. Ask for revelation.
Application. ...
Prayer.
Its a very thin line between being made whole and being sick. Smh
That is true, Hence why Jesus Christ invites us to trust in His grace, knowing that He is the ultimate source of our healing and restoration. As Psalm 147:3 assures us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
May we always seek the wholeness that comes from God, recognizing our need for His healing in every aspect of our lives.
