hi whenuareedy, I'm in the same boat as you, got my freehold house appraised and it's come in at $890k, so there's $560k equity in it. We don't have any personal loans, CCs or vehicle loans, I've gone to a MB, and he's submitted my application to the main banks so I'm waiting to see if we get a pre-approval for a $690k house we'll move into and rent our current house out. I'm getting my head around Taxes on rental income as well as making sure I have a contingency set aside. Just fully informing myself.
Hi.. I have/own a Lot of Land.. should I start developing it, but with the material and builders costs these days.. i have access to a Forestry for timber, is it, or will it be worth it? Any advice would be appreciated.. I'm wanting to build a tiny home community on my Land.. 15 to 20 homes..

How do we find the multi unit deals?
Can the profit from one rental go into another mortgage therefore no realized gains , so no tax is that the case , or is that possible?
