Hi, I know this video is old but as I can't find any help anywhere, I'm taking a chance here. Does anyone know how to disable the dimensions arrowhead? It leaves openings in the lines and gets in the way. Thank you very much!
Thanks for the question! The 3D view is drawn as an Isometric view. When you create isometric drawings, you can switch between three isometric snap grids: left, top, and right. To switch between isometric snap grids: 1. Make sure that snap mode is on and the snap style is set to Isometric. a. Type IsometricGrid at the command prompt or press F5. b. Type IsometricGrid at the command prompt or press F5. c. Type IsometricGrid at the command prompt or press Fn + F5. 2. Specify an option: a. Left: Aligns the snap grid along the left plane, defined by the 90° and 150° axis pair. b. Right: Aligns the snap grid along the right plane, defined by the 90° and 30° axis pair. c. Top: Aligns the snap grid along the top plane, defined by the 30° and 150° axis pair. 3. Orthogonal mode aligns along the isometric axes determined by the chosen plane. The three isometric axes are 30°, 90°, and 150°. Thanks!
Very helpful, thank you! I was a whiz at AutoCAD years ago and this helped me recall the old commands and know how to duplicate them in DraftSight.
