    They are brilliant those bks, I've got the 467 tester and every time its brought dead tubes back from the dead, i zapped my 25" sf2 cab 3 years ago from looking like this tube in the video and 3 years on the tube still reads way up jn the green and i use the machine for a quick game nearly every day, those rejuvenation machines are worth thier weight in gold.
    I've just zaped my daughter much loved 14" disney princess tv as the picture was loosing red after 5 mins it wasnt reading anything on emissions hardly surprising this tvs on nearly day and night and has been for 6 years shes loves this tv so hopefully it will go on for a few more years before i put another tube in it.

    Best Rejuve I've ever seen. Nice!

    Interesting that you set your G1 to 35. I was always taught to never go above the first increment. At least that's what the instruction card said when I worked at Namco.

      Yeah. Like I said, these settings are what I’ve had the most success with. Thanks.

      G1 per the bk manual says 50vs and G2 it says to set it to first increment past 0, I tried a weak 7400 and did it the manuals way and i didnt get good results it got a little worse i think which could of just been the tube being too far gone but i think im going to try mikes setting for a weak u5000, i feel like the manuals way is too much they want you to press and hold it when you do full rejuvenate unit it bounces down a sec goes back up and then release when it goes down to red, but i think its a bit too much and hits it too hard that way
      Update:Tried Mikes method on the tube i already tried bk manual way and got great results, tube looks great highly recommend doing Mikes method for arcade monitors at least

    Just got an Area 51/Max force cabinet that is having trouble with the light gun tracking. Seller said it needed a Rejuv and all my friends are saying its too dim. Trying to do as much research as I can to DIY without zapping myself XD

    There is a hair by that yellow sticker that moves when the high voltage kicks on. Lol.

    Curious about the heater voltage step shouldn't you be getting 6.3v regardless within the 4-7 voltage range? On the B&K testers there is a field calibration stated where you can check the heater output voltage with a multi meter and then use a trimmer pot on the main board to trim it up or down if needed. I suppose it may be a moot point though if your actual heater voltage is still 6.3v on the output.

    • @MikesArcadeMonitorRepair
      @MikesArcadeMonitorRepair  2 роки тому +2

      Yes. It’s 6.3 on the output. I tested it. I have to use the higher setting in every tube I shoot that is 6.3. It’s an issue with the rejuvenator.

    The true test will be how it looks in a few weeks. I’d also recommend starting on the less aggressive Clean & Balance option.

    Any idea if that tube is still in good shape lol? this video is two years old thinking about trying to find a BK rejuvenator

    I don't understand why you set the G2 Cutoff similar to G1! it is clearly specified that the G2 setting must be barely “1”!
