I was just telling someone last week that there isnt a single drivable SBS B10M left... I'm embarrassed to say i totally forgot about this one! Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Yeah it is probably the last drivable bus from SBS’s B10M series.
But you are technically correct if you are considering just the B10Ms alone 😆.
SBS9C and SBS1836A were sold to NZ as well but seems like they are not in service anymore.
Other than the seat covers, everything else was just how it was when it was first delivered to SBS. Just amazing.
I think at some point in NZ, the original single seater at the trailer were combined together and additional seats were added to increase the seating capacity.
Never rode SBS998Y when it was in Singapore but I found a photo (From SG Transportation) here for reference:

Otherwise, except for the seat covers, everything looks like how it was when it operated by SBS/SBST:)
@@Fong148 It's better you got the ride in NZ. Much less traffic to deal with.
@@sgbuses and no 60km/h speed limit too :)
@@Fong148That's a huge plus too!
I love how most of the interior aspect are kept original
I am quite amazed too, almost 18 years after it was sold to NZ.
And I even noticed that some of the SBS-era stickers were retained on the bus.
Is the stopping sound the same
How did you managed to get a ride? Did you contact Bentley Coachlines and ask to charter this bus together with SBS999U?
Yep correct, just for a short ride on both buses.
