I’ve personally done a trip with photography basecamp. Amazing experience throughout it all. Some world class tents and incredible inside information on some great spots around the country. I would highly recommend. Amazing experience at the price and as high quality as any other.

@@PaulMiguelPhotography You need to get yourself a trip, one of my favorite places, if I could win the lottery I'd move. Over 28,000 Barnacle geese never mind all the waders

watching this on ther rocky coast, probably one of the few places a monopod works well, never been a fan of them but yeah, works for that terrain

Paul, can you recommend a good monopod for use with a ❤100-500+1.4X 😊I am assuming that is what is attached to the camera in this video

I don't know enough about monopods myself. James is using a Gitzo monopod with a wimberley mono gimbal head. Highly rated. On it is a sony A9 and sony G 200-600mm.

Well looks like you have got your work cut out ! I am going to Snettisham hopefully with Steve Hedges at the end of January. An amazing RSPB reserve a long walk mind, but worth it ! I have just been to the Seaside myself . It is amazing how friendly those Turnstones are . Looking forward to your collaboration with Photography Basecamp I will be watching with keen interest ! Glamping is the way to go then 👍

Hi Miguel, I have a question for you. I have an excellent zoom telephoto lens. This lens has a little issue with metering. Exposure is a little bit dark. So what I do is I increase the exposure by a 1/3 or2/3 of a stop OR I increase ISO from 1/3 or 2/3 of a stop. I don't want to fix it in post. I want to do it with the camera. Which one will give me less noise according to your experience ? By the way, my camera easily support 12 800 iso. Thanks !

That's a tricky one. Better if you can use slower shutter speed if possible or wider aperture.

@@PaulMiguelPhotography I know but from my own testing I noticed that a higher ISO is much btter than adding +1 or +2 on the exposure. Can you test it on your side and give us your results. Thanks!
