A little different to the Singapore displays - no "snow" this time, but plenty to keep everyone entertained. I was surprised that they had enough space to put on the firework display safely in such a busy area. I'm sure you're enjoying your time in Manila.
There are very few places in the Philippines where you can enjoy the 'snow' during this season. In Manila, BGC is probably the only place where you can experience it. However, the snow area was at the big tentage at BGC Avenue 5 which was occupied by the concert, therefore no snow during my visit. The crowds that I observed everywhere are almost all locals. In Singapore, being a metropolis, I can say that 50% or more of the crowds are non Singaporeans. I have had a great time visiting the malls and also non touristy places. I will be sharing videos on these. I'll be returning home on 20 November 2024. It was a great trip.
wow iba talaga sa pinas napasaya ang pumasyan diyan sa bgc. parang tinalo na ang singapore ah after na makapayal siyempre kain naman. pag ako nagvacation puntra ako diyan para naman sulit ha ha ha
I'm glad that too that BGC, an urban master-planned development is so successful. Hope this can be replicated in other cities in the Philippines. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave comment.
Wonderful Christmas lights and fun activities for all ages. The graffiti wall is a brilliant idea 👍🏼💜🎄 the mall is definitely ready for Christmas shopping season
Filipinos love to celebrate Christmas. The malls and roads were very well decorated. Glad that I visited BGC as the ambience here was wonderful. I love the Passionfest painting very much. The ‘artists’ were talented and unleashed their creativity. The lighted mobile lanterns of animals and sea creatures created much excitement for the kids. Everyone waited patiently for the fireworks which came on at 7.30pm and delighted everyone. It was a wonderful night. I’m returning ti Singapore on 20 November. Have many interesting videos to share after returning.😊
Manila great places to travel during this festive season enjoy your stay have a safe journey back to s'pore merry christmas in advance & happy holidays see you soon in the next one my friend god bless 😇🎄🎁
This has been an interesting trip. All malls, big and small are decorated for Christmas, there's festive cheer. Besides malls, I have travelled on their MRT (Metro Rail Transit) and LRT (Light Rail Transit). Travelled on their local bus and jeepneys, and visited local cities. I will be sharing my visits to these places. I'll be travelling home today, 20 November. Salim, thank you for your good wishes. God bless!
The Christmas festival in BGC, Manila, is a time when lights shine brightly and there is an open art space where everyone can let their creativity flow freely and express themselves through colorful sketches. Inside the building, filled with many Christmas goods and decorations, casts a magical glow. Adults and children alike share in the joy of celebrating the long-awaited season. 💫🎄 The illuminated trees and the fireworks were in perfect harmony! Every moment, every smile, every sparkle is captured through the lens of a video camera and turned into an everlasting memory. Yosh and Iku
Filipinos have the longest Christmas celebrations in the world. They start celebrating from the 'ber' months. September, October...BGC is perhaps the most happening place in Metro Manila to feel the Christmas cheer. The main street at Avenue 5 was pedestrianised and crowds kept streaming in to enjoy the concert there. I like the BGC Passionfest where the wonderful art talents of Filipinos were seen in motion. I also like the mobile lanterns of animals and sea creatures moving amongst the crowds, delighting the kids. It was a great trip and I have had a wonderful time. I'll be home on 20 November and will be sharing these memories.
Thanks for subscribing, my new friend. I visit the Philippines every year as I love your country and friendly people. Besides visiting the malls, I love to travel by local transport and explore Metro Manila's local areas. I will be sharing videos on Balintawak, Divisoria, Baclaran etc. There are more videos of places that I have previously visited in my "Philippines Walking Tour" playlist.
