    I started watching because you're an attractive woman. I keep watching because you're very skilled and down to earth. I show my 15 yo daughter your videos in my continuing effort to demonstrate to her that she is not limited in her professional choices. Keep up the great work Lexi.

    Couple of things... pro tip... when pulling MC inside out counter clockwise... the smooth side pulls thru the studs this way and you don't need to roll it out. Second.. In 30+ years of being a commercial electrician I've never used 15A ckts in a commercial building for lights. And finally... pulling fishtape out... You hold the handle and pull out the tape.. you don't unwind it to get it out. That will eventually get it twisted up and stuck in the case. Hold handle and pull out tape.

    • @samp3922
      @samp3922 8 місяців тому +1

      Sage advice. Yes you bury your fish tape into itself and can be hard to get out after it LOCKS IN.

    I love your professionalism and work ethic, your videos should be used in schools to teach kids what can be achieved with plain old fashioned hard work. In the UK it's a fact that more people work in fast food and bar outlets with useless degrees than without. Trades really should be the future like they were in the past. Love your videos xXx

    I appreciate your explanations as you go. Very honest view of life in the trades. If you get the chance, it would be nice for you to do a quick vid on bonding gas piping referencing both the gas code and NEC. CSST first generation systems vs. the new self-bonded CSST vs old black iron and galvanized pipe. Also, rules for grounding electrodes at meters, generators, pools, etc. Thx

    Conduit fill is all good but once your over 3 current carrying conductors you have to start derating , not being an ass but a lot of electricians think conduit fill means you can load the pipe up with as many 12AWG 20 amp circuits 22 conductors will allow, this is not so. Over 3 current carrying conductors it goes 4-6 conductors drops to 80% 7-9 70% etc of full capacity. So now you may need a #10AWG for you 20 amp circuit and you need to correct for temperature as well. Wishing you all the best, great videos !

    Good afternoon Lexi. I was an electrician non union for 7 years. I knew I did t want to get my license and deal with owning my own business. So my only option was to make shit pay doing all the work while the boss benefited. So I got myself into the lineman apprenticeship back in ‘08. I love line work and being union I make a livable wage on Long Island. Love watching your videos. You are a kick ass hand. Keep up the good work
