I started watching because you're an attractive woman. I keep watching because you're very skilled and down to earth. I show my 15 yo daughter your videos in my continuing effort to demonstrate to her that she is not limited in her professional choices. Keep up the great work Lexi.
Hey Lexi. When did you start your own company? And how long have you been an electrician. You're doing an amazing job.Does your state require to have your masters license?
Couple of things... pro tip... when pulling MC inside out counter clockwise... the smooth side pulls thru the studs this way and you don't need to roll it out. Second.. In 30+ years of being a commercial electrician I've never used 15A ckts in a commercial building for lights. And finally... pulling fishtape out... You hold the handle and pull out the tape.. you don't unwind it to get it out. That will eventually get it twisted up and stuck in the case. Hold handle and pull out tape.
I love your professionalism and work ethic, your videos should be used in schools to teach kids what can be achieved with plain old fashioned hard work. In the UK it's a fact that more people work in fast food and bar outlets with useless degrees than without. Trades really should be the future like they were in the past. Love your videos xXx
I appreciate your explanations as you go. Very honest view of life in the trades. If you get the chance, it would be nice for you to do a quick vid on bonding gas piping referencing both the gas code and NEC. CSST first generation systems vs. the new self-bonded CSST vs old black iron and galvanized pipe. Also, rules for grounding electrodes at meters, generators, pools, etc. Thx
Thrilled you are going to try to do more longer format videos! I didn't dare hope because the production time is a big ask when you already have a day job! Thanks for being willing to give it a shot!
What a powerful work ethic; I started watching you on TicTok, decided to look you up on UA-cam, and was pleasantly surprised with so much more comprehensive content; it's entertaining watching a beautiful girl out in the field doing a challenging profession with an industrious, conscientious attitude, and excellent narration too!
Lexi, your expertise and your work ethic are remarkable. Seeing you work is an honor. The quality of your work gives me a warm, comfortable sense that your generation will keep our Country moving forward
I'm not an electrician and have no idea why I'm here, but I can't stop watching your videos. When I win the lottery and build my mansion, I'll hire you to do all the electrician things 😂
you should get a bunch of apple air tags and put them in/on your most-expensive/easiest-to-steal equipment, so you can at least have a chance on getting it back if something gets stolen...or exacting revenge. 🤣 lol, love your little electric bolt charm on your chain!
Lexiiiii giiirrrll. I watch u bc I love the idea of being an electrician. Most of the time when ur explaining ur work, I have no frame of reference. I’m like 😵💫 but I still watch bc ur so cool! Love u :)
Lexi, you do awesome work. You seem to like to teach and get stuff done! Nice to see a younger generation actually take pride in their work and not afraid to work hard!
So, again, you are unbelievably intelligent as well as being unbelievably physically fit! You are what anyone would ever see as an icon, or a hero! When I want to fuck off a tree job cuz I hate being alive, I sometimes think of you. You have way more reason to keep going, still, you are an inspiration! Thank you!🌸🌿🌺
Oh you’re not kidding about theft of tools‼️ I work in Oakland and San Francisco CA The WORST OF WORST My van looks exactly like yours. I make sure that I have put all my tools away before I go outside. Hard to work without some organization and yet that’s what happens. Thx for filming lexi 🙏
Very good video, been to places like that many of times, these days some of the industrial plants I go to are even worse. Leaving the site at 3am is, let’s say more interesting.
I totally get keep your van organized. You can get anything done when it's a mess. I also like that you work with one brand of tool. I work with a different brand but it doesn't matter.
I think that's awesome that You bid jobs, You do quotes, and installs . you're a one-stop shop and I think that's awesome. That lets me know that you've been in the field for probably close to 10 years. At least I would think
Well dam and here I thought you can’t get good electrician’s way to go smarty pants. Speaking of pants what’s your your work gear I find it so hard sometimes to find durable gear for women. Thanks for for your time these videos are inspiring.
Conduit fill is all good but once your over 3 current carrying conductors you have to start derating , not being an ass but a lot of electricians think conduit fill means you can load the pipe up with as many 12AWG 20 amp circuits 22 conductors will allow, this is not so. Over 3 current carrying conductors it goes 4-6 conductors drops to 80% 7-9 70% etc of full capacity. So now you may need a #10AWG for you 20 amp circuit and you need to correct for temperature as well. Wishing you all the best, great videos !
I'll be your van cleaner / fetcher / van watcher! Congrats to your brother. You are a pretty and skilled woman doing great work. I sure like your videos. 🙂
I really enjoy watching your videos Lexi. It's great that your brother has his on van now and it's great that the two of you can work so good together and be there to help each other out. Sorry to hear that your brothers tool's got stolen. It's a low life person that will up and still a hard working person's tool's. And Lexi I can see that your a hard working young woman and I'm sure that your also a very good mother as well. Good luck with your business and I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Good afternoon Lexi. I was an electrician non union for 7 years. I knew I did t want to get my license and deal with owning my own business. So my only option was to make shit pay doing all the work while the boss benefited. So I got myself into the lineman apprenticeship back in ‘08. I love line work and being union I make a livable wage on Long Island. Love watching your videos. You are a kick ass hand. Keep up the good work
Have thought about Van Interior Ladder Storage System? You can mount ladder under roof and regain some space. Most systems to find on Internet are from Jet rack.
Quick question. Are you a master licensed electrician? I'm a retired utility co lineman & father of daughters that grew up doing farm work, also helping me with side wiring jobs. I love seeing women getting into the trades. One of the best lineman I know is a linewoman!!!!! Stay safe.
Do you have a C-10 or a Certified General Electrician license ? Or both? Are you sponsored by any company’s? If not they should. From one electrician to another, great quality work 👍🏽
As a three year apprentice I enjoy learning from short video 10 to 15 minutes. Make them any longer and I may not watch even though I appreciate the knowledge I gain from watching you kick ass. Just a point of view.
Hey thats an very nice video with a lot of interesting facts, an to see how you work and it looks like you life your job so i think.iam an service technician for PV Storage systems here in Bavarian , so some things you doo are the same and other are completely new tio see…. so iwait for your next visdeo with fun ….:-)
Great video, when you were running the bc cable through the metal studs, was there a rule you were following that makes you put the circuit wiring that far off the ground?

I started watching because you're an attractive woman. I keep watching because you're very skilled and down to earth. I show my 15 yo daughter your videos in my continuing effort to demonstrate to her that she is not limited in her professional choices. Keep up the great work Lexi.
Thank you!! 😊
Hi Lexi, my name is Geo, how can i get a job with you?
@@edwinpacheco616 Nuh uh, your name is Edwin.
@@edwinpacheco616Weirdo 😂
Hey Lexi. When did you start your own company? And how long have you been an electrician. You're doing an amazing job.Does your state require to have your masters license?
Lexi is a B.A. truly. Take no junk from any of the gents. You are incredible!
Couple of things... pro tip... when pulling MC inside out counter clockwise... the smooth side pulls thru the studs this way and you don't need to roll it out. Second.. Sage advice. Yes you bury your fish tape into itself and can be hard to get out after it LOCKS IN.

I can relate... So annoying being in a place where you cannot rely on basic moral principles anymore😢
awesome that you are training apprentices. getting his own van seems so official. congrats to him.
The way you guys work is IN SANE!
We did this 15 years ago in our country.
Seriously that job could be done 5 times as fast with only 1 man/woman :)
I appreciate your explanations as you go. Very honest view of life in the trades. I know! Unfortunately that’s never happened to me before!
if the thief has an iphone it will notify them of the hidden airtag. apple added this feature for stalking purposes
You need a work dog, go's with you everywhere. Keeps you and yours safe and secure.

Wow Milwaukee pack out and Klein mod box 😯. Cool you don’t discriminate. They both seem pretty good
that's a good idea just marking-up photos with the required changes for bids, that way you have all the context together in one place.
I'm in high school and love your videos, I am also starting my electrical education this year.

2:50. I don’t know why I thought this, but I always had this view as a double back van, or a sprinter. I didn’t ever think of it as a side view.🤯

Last time I checked over 9 conductors you have to derate ampacity. Last time I checked standing on top of a ladder is a no no according to osha.
No worries 👍 ☺️
Don't worry about the edits! Love the content!!
Lexi, what software do you use for doing bids, takeoffs etc??? Thank you for the content!
Hey I really appreciate your videos. Make more I have learned a lot 😉 thanks. What city are you from...
I like your enthusiasm to do hard work of men and I wish you all success , much better than many silly American girls ...
Did you have sun burn ?!
You want more subs, we need the actual GRWM full day vlog.
I'm curious, of all the various hand tools and power tools in your truck, what is provided by the company you work for, and what do you have to provide?
