My mother had Alzheimer’s and she was in an assisted living for just short of 11 years. It was wonderful when groups would drop by and sing or bring cookies. They loved it. She passed away Jan 10 of this year. It’s my first Christmas without her and I am really struggling but knowing she’s reunited with my dad and in the arms of Jesus gives me comfort.
Just to let you know, I miss your regular videos. I get it things change. Thinking of you and all the Thorntons. Hope all is well! Come back when you can.

My grandson’s birthday is Christmas Eve, so his bday and Christmas present is a breakaway basketball goal. To make it look like he’s getting more from us, I’m wrapping empty boxes with clues to his present.
I’m so happy you’re back! As soon as I saw the notification I was so happy! I’m almost done with my Xmas shopping which is good for me. We don’t do much decor anymore I still live at home with my parents so it’s hard for them to have a tree even though I’ve offered it to them of helping and getting it all done. I love how you did your island in your kitchen I remember you painting it and it still looks great! I agree presents wrapped is nicer then bags too. Joanna, you make me laugh my mom loves doing puzzles she says the same thing that you do. Can’t wait to see your next video. Have a great week! 😊💜
I too struggle with a corner fireplace. It drives me crazy. I recently ordered 5 new chairs similar to yours from wayfair plus 2 small olive trees to try and spruce up this living room.WOW! What a chore. Your living room looks super cozy this year. Have a blessed Christmas season.

Thank you for this motivation again. As I love to see paper dclutter, it was satisfying when you've grabbed that bunch of paper from one trash bin to the other before emptying it haha. I hope that if you ever have nicer paper clutter like magazines/catalogues/clothes stores junkmail you'll film while discarding some even if it's not a declutter and just random items to throw away while cleaning as those pilling up so fast as I struggle to discard them. Same for the clothes that can't be donated, I just put them in a clean bag that I leave in the garage forever instead of discarding them right from the beginning in the real trash can 🤭
You could get faux plants to put in your planters. It might not have been negligence that killed them. It could be lack of sunlight. Even hardy indoor plants need the sunlight to some degree.

I LOVE that you do puzzles......my husband is an expert in them. He has a drafting table in his office and 3 goose neck floor lamps and a goose neck floor magnifier. He has been doing them for 30 years! He glues the ones that have a meaning to him and puts them in a frame. This year our daughter and SIL gave him for Christmas a family puzzle. He can not wait to do. BTW he is 75 not 89. lol ;) Arlene ps Can you show the puzzle you are working on in the next video?
