For me, the Cabana base was the standard flat, plasticine-y copout I've noticed in some other clone freshies. That part was noticeably different on skin, but the opening is very well done. If you sprayed the stuff on clothing, I don't think anyone could tell the difference. Kinda wish Fragrance World would add a BHM clone in their Abraaj line because they do good work and I like the bottle design better. Might pick up Brackish soon to get a feel for what Bracken Man delivers, and most likely the Interlude Black Iris one too. I luuuuv that stuff. 🖤💙
The Bracken Man clone is hardly a clone, one of the worst with respect to similarities with the real deal. Don't know anything about the Interlude Black Iris clone, but I recently tried the Interlude clone and it feels, to my nose, poorly done, and what I mean by that is the notes appear to be sharper, there's no balance within the blend, it feels like they just tried to mimic something, but used low quality ingredients. The BHM and Sunshine Man clones are the closest to the originals, to my nose, but again, far from hitting the right spot.
Can women wear this? I mean of course women can wear this but is it overly male, or is het truly more natural, forest-y and fresh? Its sounds pretty unisex and ive been looking at videos everywhere but cant figure it out. I dont mind a little masculine...i like lalique white as well, and majd al sultan, qaaed and warm oud and im not into very feminine fragances...im looking for a fresh foresty minty not sweet fragance. Maybe encre noir by lalique or this one? Could somebody help me please? Tia!
hahaha i just buy Cabana few days ago and... I am disappointed. The perfume itself is not bad, but after the reviews I imagined something like Egoist Platinum, something masculine for the summer. And what I got was a unisex floral one, which I think I had already smelled at some aunt's 20-30 years ago. It is true that the durability is very good, 12 hours+, but personally this scent would suffocate me in the summer. What I feel? Ivy, some bitter lavender (I suspect galbanum) and something resembling mint (but it's not mint), rosemary or sage. And that's probably it for the main ingredients. I'll come back to it after maceration, maybe I'll even take a chance in the summer. Don't tested Amouge Beach Hut Man yet.
I think you'd get pretty similar vibe from BHM, meaning that the mint is not quite the real player in there once it dried down. However, I'd like to say that, while I couldn't connect with KO Cabana, I appreciate BHM and like it quite a lot. Not enough to get a full bottle, but I feel it's quite different from Cabana.
If it's anything like BHM then I find it hard to understand how it can smell like some old-hat unisex thing. BHM is not a big favourite of mine but it definitely is unusual.
I first sampled Cabana, and wasn't sold on the scent. I later acquired BHM and I highly appreciate its quality. To my nose/brain, Cabana is a noticeably inferior fragrance with respect to the scent quality and I would not recommend it to someone who wants to get an idea about what BHM smells like, without buying an Amouage sample.
Have been curious about this fragrance. Thanks for your thoughts. Sounds like something I'd enjoy wearing.
This one seems interesting nice review and choice love the video Nate stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way
I like Cabana also 👍🤓

@@andrei-cosmin.popa85 Appreciate the feedback!
The Plasticine doesn't have to be down to quality level. I very often get it from patchouli, full stop.
