The God of the Universe; The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, is a sovereign God who makes covenants with His chosen people. Before Jacob had done anything good or bad God choose Jacob to be His own possession (Romans 9). This vow is Jacob responding to the Choice of the Father by the Call of the Spirit.

@@joecstout I should add that we will sing acapella, so all we need is a simple arrangement, preferably for four part harmony which is our custom. But we could easily sing in union. But, only if you have time. I just thought I'd ask in case you already have it. This has become one of my favorite videos.
