This plugin is what's been missing in the "In The Box" world for a long time. Great work Ryan! Side note - Mess around with the plugin for an hour or so then watch these videos... Well I literally just bought this plugin and tried to open it on a 2013 Mac and it wouldn’t open, went to the site to the bottom of the page and seen that it’s recommended that you have at least a 2018 max. I wish that was in the middle of the webpage, now I will be paying $25 a month for a plugin that I can’t even use no time soon as I definitely don’t need a new Mac. Really wanted to try/use the plugin. Is it possible to get out of the rent to own deal since we can’t use it??
Hello you can pause or cancel the rent to own option at anytime. The plug-in requirements are on the plug-in page, in the faq and in the manual. I always recommend demoing something first. Anyhow, if you email me I can refund your payment . Sorry about that.
Ok Ryan ... I'm on board finally and your awesome creation has made my Mastering chain for many uses sir! As I'm taking my journey from mixing to mastering, I've dedicated a separate workstation for mastering ONLY ... to focus on the detailed craft. Thx ...
Might just replace flatline in my mix and master template. So far I’m very impressed. The unity function is great. I Tryed to set it up to do what I do with flatline first. Just clip things on the mixbus around-7 db before maximizing. Then was pleasantly surprised when I used some gold and a little bit of alchemy with unity on. Getting around-8.5 db peaks before my maximizer chain with it doing less work. So far it’s more pleasant to my ear.
Yes, it really does an excellent job of preparing the audio before a traditional limiter. I often use it first in chain and EQ into the limiter. I am so happy you are liking it!
Question... Should this be applied to EACH bus? Or ONLY the Stereo Bus? I'm not sure if you're applying to busses for different examples, OR if that is the intent
You should make a version with just one clipping option, no extra features, and sell that for less. Not because I want to save money, but because I want a version that just clips in one way, and I don't have to try a bunch of options.
It is 100% modeled after the Lavry Gold yet they likely can’t say so for legal reasons. Acustica Ash models the Lavry Gold too, yet GoldClip has a special magic to it. It’s so good.

Bitwig seems to have trouble loading this plugin. At least my set up.

So how good is to clip the Hedd Quantum with this plugin, but on my side i have the AD+ ADC
I never found the HEDDQ to be a good clipper. Much better as a clean and noble converter.
