Lower Thames Crossing: Supporting UK jobs and skills, specialist steel supplier from Lincolnshire

During construction, the Lower Thames Crossing will give an economic uplift through the supply of new high-quality jobs and skills - locally, and across the UK. We’re profiling some of the specialist suppliers who we think will help us build the new the road, if permission is granted.
Our Roads North of the Thames Delivery Partner, @BalfourBeatty, has an in-house piling facility based in Lincolnshire. Carbon and waste reduction is top of their agenda, including each of their piles using 99.9% recycled steel and 100% recycled water.
The consistent production pipeline offered by working on the project will support their almost fully Lincolnshire based 100-person workforce, as well as support their growth plans by enabling investment into better technology and robotics.
