Exorsisters are basically going to be for Splight format what Evilswarms were for Dragon Ruler format. The 3rd best option with an actual chance to win against the top 2 and probably also going to be cheaper to make as well. Again, that's a CHANCE, it's not looking to be a hard counter by any means, though it does have ways of holding them off which matters a lot.
That's probably why Tearalaments is going to be more expensive than Splights even with all the Tier 0 doomposting leading to massive buyouts of the "best deck". At least if you act quick you'll be able to get the current Exosister stuff before it spikes in price, those other two decks are going to cost a fortune right out of the gate thanks to their OCG results.
Dope vid! I love Exosisters! Would be curious on what kind of profile/combos you could come up with for Libromancers. I think that deck is pretty slept on. Droll/Nib are its main weaknesses but I feel like the archetype is 1 or 2 good support cards away from being really good.

Exosisters is definitely a T1 threat, but in the ocg, tearalaments and splights have significant advantages that I can observe that makes them better than exosisters. Both tearalaments and splights are way more consistent compared to exosisters, and they support the mixing of additional cards to supplement their playstyles. For splights, any two monsters in hand or 1 monster and 1 splight starter leads to full combo, which is essentially a negate everything board, and their combos are very resistant to hand-traps. The fact that they can set-up a full board with so little resources also means they can run tons of hand-traps themselves, as well as other tech cards to help start / extent their advantage. Recently I've seen them run with Melffys and Mysterunes for eg. For tearalaments, every main deck monster can mill and fusion summon from the GY, which means your entire deck becomes potential fusion resources, and they have the additional gimmick of being able to disrupt during your opp's first turn if going second, using a combination of Haufenis and Kelbek the ancient vanguard. Now going back to Exosisters. 1. If you looked through the combos you would see Exosister is quite reliant on Malfa Kaspitell and Pax to start their combos, so smart players would leave hand-traps for those cards, which results in a decrease in consistency both for when you get negated and if you can't draw those cards. 2. The fact that Malfa locks you into Exosister monsters also meant most of the time you would be playing a pure variant, which makes alot of ur combos and end boards predictable, which means players can easily learn when to disrupt you or the best cards to target to break your board. 3. Your combos are sadly prone to all the common hand-traps, so it's quite easy for you to hit a wall somewhere if you get hand-trapped 2 times at important places. 4. Your end-boards have many quick disruptions (banish/prevention), but do not actually have any form of effect negates, which means you die to almost every board-breaking card (evenly, dark ruler, droplet, sphere mode, lava golem, nibiru, artemate slay, hell even raigeki clears your board) 5. None of your monsters have GY effects, and Exosisters do not have any searchable card that recycles monsters sent to the GY, which means you have really bad recursion and can almost never comeback after your board gets cleared. 6. The main deck cards have very little removal effects on their own, relying too heavily on getting the extra deck monsters out, which means you will have a really hard time breaking a board going second, forcing you to rely on board-breaking cards, which in turn affects consistency to draw the combo pieces. 7. Your selection of good end-board boss monsters are quite limited tbh, which means your opp can play around your disruptions by forcing them suboptimally. For eg, if your opp imperms your magnifica as their first move during the second turn, you are forced to chain magnifica to tag out into something else, which means you lose a banish opportunity and you don't even know what strategy ur opp is playing yet so you have to guess which extra deck monster is better to tag out.
Well, Pax, Sophia and Mikaelis surely won't get cheaper anymore, the only way is up. Grand Creator (product with terrible Ultra Rates) left the shelfs, the new support will make them at least Tier 2 und finally... they are Waifus.
I don't think you can use DD crow like that. The Exosisters specify whenever your opponent moves a card from a graveyard. DD Crow you're the one banishing the card so it shouldn't trigger.
I thought so too, until I actually read the Exosister Malfa card. "If a card(s) is moved out of either GY (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Exosister" Xyz Monster using this face-up card you control as material. (This is treated as an Xyz Summon.) You can only use each effect of "Exosister Malfa" once per turn."
