ive noticed that if someone seems to be teleporting around the map you check the door logs and if you see little to no logs its almost 100% that person
I have a question, does the door logs RETAIN even after a "Voting Session?" That way you can double check after a mistake in choosing the wrong person.
There are 4 places that you can kill on Mira without getting crapped: -MedBay, but logs make it so you can't because you HAVE TO vent out. -Lab, but you can very rarely vent because office is busy and watched. -Storage, but you have to be quick -Spawn, free kill if someone's afk
There's actually several things you can do with the logs. As always, you can get a decent understanding of where some people go, who heads to the sabotages, who vented, etc. You can see if someone vented by checking the sensors they passed and seeing if they skipped any. Let's say blue triggers the north sensor once, then triggers the south east one. Chances are, blue is the impostor because he went north, vented to the south east region and crossed that sensor. If blue was a crewmate he would have triggered the north sensor twice (once going there and once leaving there) and then headed south east. This strategy isn't 100% accurate because the sensors have cooldowns, comms sabotage, and it's inaccurate when you get spawned, but I've sussed many impostors using this strategy. And yeah, scan is the only visual on this map if you're wondering :)
Indeed sensors have a weakness with it's cooldown but most don't know that or wouldn't do that play, and even if they did the Impostors looks like they put a huge effort gotta respect that.
But that example wouldn't help you at all because it's just as possible that someone was running from the North side of the HQ, then went Southeast to the cafeteria. Any combination of two sensors is possible to be done by a crewmate, the only situation in which it would tell you where that someone vented is if they went (for example) north, south east, south west, because any crewmate would need to trigger the Southeast sensor again to get to Southwest, but even that can be fudged thanks to the cool down. I can see the concept behind it, but it's super duper impractical due to all the variables combined with just a little information it gives you.
@@SSL_2004 no no there is usually an invisible rule that people can't be together when being detected by sensors, also I use sensors most of the time and just think of colors as sequences
The reactor is actually an extremely good sabotage, if u ever kill someone bottom side of the map, in most cases you would wanna sabotage reactor to hide the body and u can stall for at least a minute, because too much time has passed and there's no info, you are almost guaranteed to get away with it in meeting if you dont f up
@@ZombieRummager @Zombie Rummager yeah, fair enough, reactor is only slightly better because it takes more time since its needs 2 person to get there and u need to go thru decontamination first but i doubt that would make a huge difference
It would add a bit of time to resolving the sabo if there is less than 2 people already in reactor / lab which is why lights would be slightly worse but not by too much
The good thing about mira reactor is that you can easily win with 6 players left and two impostors. The other maps have separate places for reactor/02 and you can't see the other impostor, but on this one you can time it perfectly and not risk the other two crewmembers reporting a body.
One thing I learned to do is keep an eye on the engine refill task at the start of the match. Since it’s right at the spawn, whoever gets that will do it first and often times will complete it before anyone else can make it to the other tasks. I then just watch the task-bar to see if it fills once they’re finished and walk away, and if it does, I can be pretty safe in betting they’re a crewmember. This usually gives me enough time to run over to the medbay to see who’s scanning, too. A sharp impostor could potentially take advantage of this as well.
@@ZombieRummager I'm super new to Among Us, with only one session (we spent 4 hours playing together), but I personally think that the Task Bar is low key the single greatest weapon Crew Mates have. The game started on Skeld and I went down to Admin to do card but Orange made it there first. I maintained my distance and waited. Task Bar didn't go up but Orange pushed towards me. Its because of Task staying at zero I looped around the table, he followed me, and we just did a full ring around the rosy and I went straight back to cafeteria and slammed that emergency and got Orange voted out and confirmed impostor before any kills happened leaving the last impostor to have to 1v9. If it wasn't for task bar, I probably would have died alone and Orange would have vented, but we managed to take out an Impostor before any kills happened. Maybe Impostors that know what they're doing can counter play it, IDK. but in my limited experience of the game it seams super strong.
a cool trick is using the vent in labs to go to office for lights. you can get someones attention in reactor and then turn the lights off so now you have someone to vouch for you. then you go in a vent and go to lights if possible you can kill someone if they are alone right before others arrive and then go back into the vent and go back to reactor. you have someone to vouch for you and it looks as if you are nowhere near the kill.
@@ZombieRummager the only problem with this strat is you need only one person to be at lights to get the kill so you can hop out, stab, and hop back in, before people come in and see you or discover the body. once the report happens you can say you were with who saw you at reactor and that you were at reactor. because it's no where near lights and someone can vouch for you it's believable. plus it's just a pretty clean kill in general. even if you dont have reactor and people to vouch for you going into a vent to get to lights before everyone and seeing if you can get a kill on the first person to arrive if they are alone could be pretty nice
also another way to do this strat is to call reactor. most people will now be doing their tasks. then when you're able to turn off lights there is usually a lot more people to vouch for you and a lot less people who will be on lights. plus you could maybe get the lights kill even if there is more than one person because if 1 person is on the panel then they wont see the kill until they are off the panel. allowing you to kill the other person if there are only 2.
How to use logs: If you see 2 people, lets say green and black, go to lets say up (O2/Admin/Electric) and you see them both pass in a short amount of time. If then black leaves and green is gone from the logs completely, its probably black
I’ve actually been able to enact your scheme. One in reactor, two heading into electric. I went and killed the guy back there, vented, the guy who was in reactor got there late so I blamed him, called a emergency, and won. Thank you for showing the strategy.
This is actually a pretty nice map to do coms on. Two people need to be doing it at the same time for it to go through, which people don't seem to know. Its great for splitting people up like oxygen, but you might not have to worry about as many people crowding it because it's not as high priority of a fix as oxygen. Because of the way fixing the coms work as well, It'll likely force people to stay at the emergency longer than they would for other emergencies or people will end up leaving it from not immediately knowing how it works and possiblh make a much longer emergency than others. Also it staying between rounds doesn't hurt.
@@thescorpionpalacios yes an op way to use mira hqs vent system is venting from one side of the map to the other side then killing someone then venting back to where you started so you dont get caught on logs
The theory you made at 11:54 i think i can debunk that they might use the door log or the comms to check if u actually walked from caf to elec thet might see that u did not pass the sensor(the beam on the floor) and might call a meeting because of that and might cause to defeat but that only depends on the crewmate if they use the door log
Hey zombie, i just wanted to point something out about the doorlogs. They'll only be useful on the first round if the impostor killed someone past reactor, lab, comms, medbay... Meaning, if you ask where the body was and they say that the body was in cafe you can then check who was there last to see who was potentially the killer. This has helped me *ALOT* to win as crewmate so i hope you can use this as well.
The comms is useful because u can easily tell who’s venting Like for example, if it says Red passed the Southeast sensor. And then not even a second goes by and it says Red passed the North sensor. Then you can tell, because you can’t get around that fast in such a short amount of time.
Sensors are baeeeeee. They have helped me catch Imposter a ton of times. They trip a sensor and go into Cafeteria or Admin, but magically trip another sensor without tripping it again. It has failed me once
5:36 I also have a hard time reading the logs . But I have an alternative to that. When there are only 4-5 people left , stand in the middle of the triangle. And see who is going where . For example if someone ( say black) goes to North side and then returns from one of the other both sides . They are 100 % imposter . This trick works always but there are two cases when u can fail . 1) The lights sabotage. 2) U can easily get killed here .
The reactor sabo on MIRA is very powerful because of its ability to stall the crewmates for a long time. You need the whole crew to arrive there due to the vast vent network making double kills easy, and then they won’t be doing tasks or (most importantly) finding your kill for much longer, giving you time to recharge your kill cd, which removes more crewmates.
The whole killing in cafe and then venting to lights while lights are off is a bad idea Ik the other People can’t see you but if they remember you doing a meteor task with “dark green” let’s say and they were in cafe they started to lights first and somehow you got there faster
I believe that the purpose of the doorlog is to counter the vent system. Example : at the start (when you spawn in launch pad) you can see who vented across the map (who didnt pass the south west sector). Very useful since if you are crewmate it is impossibke to not trigger the doorlog to get to the other areas.
A reactor sabotage is more likely to wipe away the door logs with an overload since it only records the last 20 uses. An oxygen sabotage almost never does that. If you need the door logs wiped out for some reason, this is the best way since for some stupid reason the logs are not wiped away during a coms sabotage.
I found the communications really useful in this map,if you see someone go somewhere than never come back,it means they vented, you might think it is absurd, but it gets everyone because no one expects it.
Coms sabotages are really good in all maps The skeld makes it disable cams which is useful for killing in areas with cams Same with polus and I think it also disables vitals Mira hq has it disabke doorlogs which allows venting
Something you can do on all maps, but is even easier to do on Mira HQ with all those vents: 1: go into a space with a few people (one with a bunch of tasks like reactor or cafe) 2: leave on your own 3: hop in a vent and go back into there - while everyone is busy doing tasks, kill then hop into the vent again and continue walking away :) If no one saw you, then you should be good cause they've seen you leave so it's obviously more likely that someone in the room did it.
I find out alot of imposters by standing out of view of spawn and seeing who last leaves spawn and then go back to spawn and if there is a ded body i know its them because imposters dont vent after getting that spawn kill because 1. if u were a crewmate first one out of spawn and go to reactor an see somebody there theres a high chance its them and imposters dont wanna be caught like that and 2. Nobody really goes back to spawn unless they have the anomaly task so imposters dont see a reason to vent away. Like i said i can use this and have used this to catch multiple imposters once both imposters left at the same time because they were practically hugging each other and i went back and found a ded body and called both of them out just a little tip to try and catch an imposter early on in the game
I saw on another video that you can stand in the middle of the hallway and watch people you can record your own logs that could be more correct if you’re good at doing it
I didn't think I would find this video useful but I actually did! With the vending machine I would always just enter all of the sodas and sometimes my task would randomly be complete and I was confused I never noticed the little drawings of the drinks lol😂😂😂😂
Very good info also lets say the sensor have 5 sec cool down I pass through south east sector to to north as crewmate the next crewmate that follows me straight after won’t bleep when he passes through
I havent gotten a single imp victory on this map because -the sacred texts- logs always beat me and everyone sticks together plus its kinda hard to find a hidden place to kill someone
*I am telling you, Door Log is very effective* *I was playing a game and I checked the logs, and black passed Northwest and southeast sensor right after each other* *I called an emergency meeting, I told everyone about the logs and black got ejected* *he was an impostor* *later in the game, someone got cyan ejected by checking logs* *So both impostors got voted out by door logs*
I've won many rounds with the logs. Classic help is knowing who was where and killing range. The best method tho is countering the good vents through spotting inconsistencies. Tho admin table is good at that too.
The door logs, I have caught so many people with it. No vents so the imposter has to walk in and out of it. A lot of imposters that killed me have been caught
I haven’t played this game yet but If you do that camera register spamlist as a nonimposter its to make sure its clear who might have murdered you and where. If you do it as an imposter its kind of a fake out to signal to people you are playing it safe or aren’t probably an imposter.
One time on MIRA HQ when i put a reactor sabotage after it reached 0 it continued going until i got bored waiting in launchpad so i vented to reactor and killed someone who was doing a task. Unfortunately someone saw kill and thank goodness the beeping stopped. I felt like it was gonna kill my ears.
An example on how to read the logs: If you are looking in the logs which is at the southwest area and you see blue pass the north side and then you see him behind you without him ever passing the southwest, that means that he vented. If this sound confusing, ask any questions and I will answer them!
Can you make a video where is short, common and long tasks for every map. This is important like example theres no short task but someone is standing at wire task (short task) so obviously hes faking task.
Maybe. I mention in the Polus video that I don't want to go over common tasks (like the key and keyhole task on Polus) because I don't like the concept of "they didn't do this task so they're impostor" or "they did do this task so they're impostor." If there is high demand I def will tho. We shall see!
Turning off the lights and killing your target and then quickly go through vents to office to turn off lights is risky cuz people in the place where you were will know you was there, then when they go to office to turn off the lights and when they see you, they will think that how did you get there so fast?
Impostor: You can vent anywhere on the map, hardest O2 crisis to fix, there's nowhere crewmates can juke you. Crewmates: Don't. But in all seriousness, the biggest flaw of this map is that it's all straight halls. The only reliable way to escape a pursuit is in the cafeteria.
All my friends and classmates only play skeld. Only one other plays polis. and i play mira hq. i like it so much coz it's rly small and therefore makes it easier as cremate and harder as impostor. i wish my friends would play mira hq with me instead of skeld all the time!
Okay Imo this map is the easiest (probably because the people I've played with don't know how to use the comms room thing) I like it, for me polus is the worst. and can we talk about how ghosts can apparently still move the doors at balcony, visibly to other crewmates? You could probably exploit that one. Probably. Just came into my mind, but idk. Everyone would probs sus that person then lol
This map is very risk.. crewmate is easily can track u using the vent.. especially the crewmate that has memories everyone at.. but for safe move.. sabotage the comm.. so no one track u using the door log
I thought you had to take out a certain number of items from the machine, did not know there was a picture of what you have to take out, I've wasted so much time doing that.

Like i said i can use this and have used this to catch multiple imposters once both imposters left at the same time because they were practically hugging each other and i went back and found a ded body and called both of them out just a little tip to try and catch an imposter early on in the game
Love the Among Us content. Binged it all in one day and learned alot!
I'm glad you enjoyed!!
I saw on another video that you can stand in the middle of the hallway and watch people you can record your own logs that could be more correct if you’re good at doing it
10:10 yes when someone goes to southwest and then to southeast they can only be a crewmate if they come back on southeast or they ventend
The asteroids the red thing does light up red when someone is using it
Hey zombie, Pro tip: the timer on those types of tasks resume through meetings, so if a meeting is fast enough, you can still see the time run down
I got confused on the sensors of this map. Thanks for pointing out where they are. Those lines are hard to miss.
In my opinion Mira HQ is the best to be an impostor
I didn't think I would find this video useful but I actually did! With the vending machine I would always just enter all of the sodas and sometimes my task would randomly be complete and I was confused I never noticed the little drawings of the drinks lol😂😂😂😂
Tysm for the guide I surely helped, I really hope for new updates (mostly cosmetics and maps)
there wont be any new maps, they are currently developing among us 2 and will incorporate new maps into that game!
@@ZombieRummager what about cosmetics?
Cosmetics are a possibility! But it's up to innersloth, idk what they're going to do lmao
TIP: in polus you can hide behind the machine that destroys asteroids but your name must be I
*I am telling you, Door Log is very effective*
*I was playing a game and I checked the logs, and black passed Northwest and southeast sensor right after each other*
*I called an emergency meeting, I told everyone about the logs and black got ejected*
*he was an impostor*
*later in the game, someone got cyan ejected by checking logs*
*So both impostors got voted out by door logs*
The one-side glass in laboratory is useful, one time I caught an imposter kill someone there and vent, I was just behind the glass 😂
thank y o so much for explaining how to finish the tasks!!! I really dont know some of them so thank s!! :)
youre welcome! glad it helped
My favorite thing to do is sabotage reactor and wait until theres a dogpile in the quarantine chamber so I can crowd kill
With the vent thing, the WILL think your sus for being able to be everywere so quickly
An example on how to read the logs:
If you are looking in the logs which is at the southwest area and you see blue pass the north side and then you see him behind you without him ever passing the southwest, that means that he vented. If this sound confusing, ask any questions and I will answer them!
Thanks for the tips bro
you got it dude
Really helpful video thanks bro
And ofc, ppl figured out how to use logs and those who can are a big threat to the imp
What about the comms sabotage? It can also separate the crew
People: i dont like MIRA HQ
Me after accusing both impostors using doorlogs: 😏😏😏
Well, I think there is a visual in the green house , The size of the plant increases when you water it.
That huge circular thing in the reactor is also called as dyson sphere.
I didn't know that lmao
@@ZombieRummager yeah, it's ok, bro 😊
divyansh mathur thats not a dyson sphere, a dyson sphere is a structure built around a star to absorb its energy.
@@blarpax9061 Then what can we call it ???
@@blarpax9061 There's got to be a name for that circular thing, no ??
I always sabotage reactor bc I can vent into dec or go into dec, kill, then vent out.
i started playing with pollus and jesus i hate mira hq.. way too hard to get kills when you play with people who group and know how to play
how do you set to press spacebar to open task? or is it automatic
as long as your playing mouse and keyboard its automatic
Turning off the lights and killing your target and then quickly go through vents to office to turn off lights is risky cuz people in the place where you were will know you was there, then when they go to office to turn off the lights and when they see you, they will think that how did you get there so fast?
Thanks for your tips :)
Door log can catch imposters if you see someone not go through the sensor that much, they are an impostor
Tip:If you see someone on the reactor when no one has even gone there it's the impostor
No doors though and if you vent everywhere a good play might notice you aren't on the doorlogs
@@alfiekelly3852 all maps have coms being useful since they disable cams, maybe vitals not sure and doorlogs
All my friends and classmates only play skeld. Only one other plays polis. and i play mira hq. i like it so much coz it's rly small and therefore makes it easier as cremate and harder as impostor. i wish my friends would play mira hq with me instead of skeld all the time!
This is my favorite map to play in as imposter
mira is the best map and i like how you spawn in launchpad but dont after meeting
I'm sick of people always choosing The Skeld I want my practice to go in vain.
Choose another map then
make a vid on admin, its so useful to find ventings and killings
henry stickmin collection reference in electrical!
Very helpful
Glad it helped!
hello my friend, i don't think mira hq is a build, its more like a spaceship, i just think this because of that reactor.
Actually getting crewmates all doing reactor is good because they will all jump on it and you can crowd kill then play it off
I studied the whole skeld so I’m trying to study the miraHQ
Your theory is wrong if they see you go on to balcony then your at office they know something up. And don't vent to much because of the sensor log
love this map
The ship in launchpad Mira HQ is acualy is the skeld
This is my fav map and the easiest imo skeld is 2nd fav and I've played polus twice I don't understand it
Okay Imo this map is the easiest (probably because the people I've played with don't know how to use the comms room thing)
I like it, for me polus is the worst.
and can we talk about how ghosts can apparently still move the doors at balcony, visibly to other crewmates?
You could probably exploit that one.
Probably.
Just came into my mind, but idk. Everyone would probs sus that person then lol
Also in labritory there's one way glass
This map is very risk.. crewmate is easily can track u using the vent.. especially the crewmate that has memories everyone at.. but for safe move.. sabotage the comm.. so no one track u using the door log
I thought you had to take out a certain number of items from the machine, did not know there was a picture of what you have to take out, I've wasted so much time doing that.
This is my favorite map.
I choose every single task in the game
Do you play Among us on mobile too? Also great video!
I only play on PC, but I do know that it's free on mobile!
@@ZombieRummager ok, if you ever play it on mobile just tell me cause my friends and I love your videos and would love to play with you!
There is crossplay! For example, you and all your friends could be playing mobile and I could play on PC and we could all be in the same game! I would recommend joining my Discord (link in description) and you might catch me playing Among Us! Anyone in the discord is allowed to join the voice channel and game
@@ZombieRummager Cool I didn't know there was crossplay. I will join your discord thank you.
Most complicated map? Wait till you see the airship.
It’s actually an ok map to use coms on
You missed the comms trick that the impostor can use to split the crew up.
