My dermatologist recommended the ointment to me for my bumpy moles. Some of my moles are big but I was told I don't need to worry about them. I also have to come back to her in recommended months and years.
I had a very small spot on my ankle that was looked at by a NP . Without any tests she prescribed this for me to use twice daily. Well, as it turns out, it was not psoriasis. She had me using this for 17 months. Along with many different biologics. The " rash" now covers 90% of my body. My feet bleed if i walk and i can not pick anything up without experiencing great pain. I have vision problems that are now considered to be directly linked to this drug. I am seeing a different dermatologist ( my pharmacist told me to go to, he would not fill anymore of the previous NP prescriptions). I am now in full blown TSW. My endocrine system is being checked and the new dermatologist is working to reverse the damage done. I will be permanently scared, may need cataract surgery, an d ... god only knows what else. This drug is very dangerous if it is used for over 4 weeks. Be very careful with this stuff.
Seventeen months is totally ridiculous and irresponsible. I’m not sure why she would start you on the most potent steroid cream and then to top it off, with no time limit and a reassessment.
@qasimmir7117 sales? Billing my insurance Co? Ineptitude? My new dermatologist has me on a new path. I've found ( kinda old here ) that every bad thing that has happened, something good came from it. " no pressure, no diamond".
@@AnotherClientsorry i dont want to sound rude but why would you use it for 17 months even if the doctor says so??? everytime a doctor prescribes me something i go into the internet and read about the medicine what it does and how long to use it. i just dont understand how people can blindly trust any doctor makes no sense to me.
A childs skin barrier is much less developed than a fully matured adults, so a lot more of the steroid mollecule gets through the skin from topical treatments. In this case, perscribed usage of a topical steroid for an adult would result in a dangerously higher dose in a child. Factoring in potential misuse such as applying a strong steroid to a thinner area of the skin, a child could end up with a steroid concentration many times over the required amount.
Sir am suffering from melazma some one suggested me use it on face kindly plz tell me shall I use it on face or not n plzz prescribed me a melazma patches cream
If it has so many serious side effects why do the doctors give it to patients? I was recenly diagnosed with cataract and did some research and found out that corticosteroid can cause cataract. Years ago a pulmonary doctors gave me a three times per day for more than a month and also I was given medicine for Covid which i heard that cause cataract too. I think those medicine caused me an early cataract as I am just 48 years old. The optometrist told me that most people get cataract after 60 years old. Recenly I got redness on my skin and a doctor give me antihistamine per oral and ointment contain corticosteroid. I told him i dont wanna have corticosteroid. He told me that it was applied on skin so its safe. But the night i had and applied those medicine, my left eyes hurt so much in the middle of night that I couldn sleep until morning. Why would doctors give those to patients without even explain the side effect? And why so many medicine contain corticosteroid?
Sadly it's given out because then patient has reason to keep coming back. While no one is addressing the main issue of why all of the sudden everything around us is causing our immune systems to freak out and the auto immune disorders pile on,the western "healthcare" industry finds it easier to tell patients there is no cure and make lifetime "customers" versus putting resources into researching what it is around us and that we put in and on our bodies daily that's causing endocrine disruption and immunity problems.
@@familyfirst7027 we are not sure about it. But those medicine have so many side effects. It doesn't have to be everyone, in this case many people is enough.
my dermatologist today told me NOT to put this on my face or any skin folds (behind knees or elbows or butt). Be very careful from what I gather this is very strong stuff.
