    Sir i got 6.5 k rank after taking a drop ,thought of getting below 4 k rank ,but u know this year uncertainty and competetion from. Our juniors .In the begining of my preparation i kept a goal like whatever branch i take i will do it from govt institute as we r from middle class snd did ug from pvt cllg.My 1 st priorities are medicine and radiology ,2 nd is pediatrics but as per my rank i wont get my 1 st priorities lot of people suggesting to take a pvt seat with 20 l fees but my mind is not accepting it .after seeing ur video and talking with consultants i decided to takes peds from govt institute tq sir 😇

    Totally Agreed brother, like as long as you are getting your 1st or 2nd preference branch , there's no point in taking a drop.
    I got a rank of 14k this year and i wanted MS Gen Surgery and initially i was thinking ki i only studied for 3 4 months and if i dropped nd study more then i can get Surgery in a better institute but then after few weeks of research i came to a conclusion that as I won't drop as long as im getting my branch , since real learning starts after PG.
    So i would rather use the year after PG than to use it to try to get a better PG college

    Sir I am a north Indian. Wanted to know on what level language barrier can affect if I take up ent or eye in South. Also I am unable connect with you on Instagram. Wanted a little guidance 🙏

      There is definitely some barrier but that should be the last point in choosing a college.
      Doesn't take much time to learn medical terms. And I am saying this based on my personal experience. So don't worry.
      Also I have received quite a few queries on Instagram. There must be some glitch when you were trying to connect.

    Sir what about dip chest medicine and sec dnb after that .

    • @drparthpalan
      @drparthpalan  21 годину тому

      Yes not a bad option at all. But for secondary dnb too, there is an entrance exam.
      So if possible, you can aim for primary dnb chest or MD from deemed university.

      Yeah dmrd followed by secondary dnb
      As jaruri nhi h next time under 4k aajaye
      Competition is increasing day by day
      Juniors are more exam oriented(smart)
      Is baar dmrd leke sec. Dnb krke
      It would be equal to dnb radio
      But if u go for a drop
      Then jaruri nhi next time under 4k aajaye
      So better to opt for dmrd

      At a great rank of 8.2k, repeating shouldn't be on your mind! Many people struggle to get such a rank. And repeating won't guarantee a rank like this with one year of such intense struggle seeing all your friends earn and work.
      If you have the finance, you can try to take in a deemed university since radio can recover the money very quickly.
      Try searching for any government or dnb seats bychance which have gone at this rank last year.
      Can think of changing your branch if you are taking radio just because your friends took it.
      And yes, lastly can take up diploma followed by secondary dnb

    Bhaiya sorry I'm not on Instagram. I got 8.9k rank, and I'm set on pursuing only medicine, and I will probably get DNB. I really wanted to pursue my medicine residency from a top college/central institute. This was my second attempt (first drop), should I leave this seat and sit for May INI-CET?

    • @drparthpalan
      @drparthpalan  3 дні тому +6

      No ways!! 8.9k is a great rank.. Heartiest Congratulations!!
      You must take a DNB seat in medicine at an institute which has good patient load and academics.
      You will have no bond and will get ample time to study for NEET- SS.
      Please don't do the mistake of taking a drop with such an awesome rank.. that too after having repeated once.

      Bro , you have already spent 1.5yrs on drop , and now you are getting branch of your choice.
      Don't miss this opportunity just for Institute , your goal should be to become a good medicine doctor and not to become a medicine graduate from a Top Institute.
      Plus you have an Advantage with DNB medicine that you have no bond and you can thus start your SS or Pvt clinic early

    Sir what about dgo ????

    • @drparthpalan
      @drparthpalan  День тому

      DGO is afterall a diploma of 2 years.
      After this, you can either start to practice or apply for secondary DNB which is a 2 year course.
      If you don't do the latter, with only DGO, scope of getting an attachment in a good hospital is not as good as that for a doctor with an MS.
