if your peke is a pistol it won't be that easy... for my meany Ziggy i trained him to roll over. i have to hold kibble in one hand near his nose as i brush him with brush in my other hand.... releasing a little kibble only every now and then when he's good. he get's eye drops daily and i have to do the same thing. hold the bottle near his eye with one hand, hold kibble in my other hand up to his nose... give the eye drop when he is receiving a piece of kibble. for nail trimming i just walk him on asphalt / concrete regularly so i don't have to trim the nails. for knots or matted areas of Ziggy's fur I put get the knot separated, scissors nearby and ready, then spread the kibble out so he works to get it as I have both hands free to trim the knot / matt.
How often do you trim their hair? I just got a peke puppy. So new to this breed but I love her. I only own Chihuahua longhairs so not much trimming except one. He has a doble coat.

Oh, that dog was good, my Peke doesn't like me touching her feet, let's others though! I also would rather have her higher than me on a bench as I can't bend because of my back!

I do the exact same with my Peke. Long tail, for sure! Also trim her nails a bit, she still hates that at 10 years old. But I love her in a long coat!

I also just lost my baby peke. She was 16 yrs old. Miss her very much. Hope to get another peke.😢❤❤❤😢😢
