I am a high-masking autistic girl and so much of my life has been spent in hiding, trying not to show how scary and overwhelming I find literally everything. It made me cry happy, relieved, dolphin-y tears.

Im so glad you found a place to call home. I came here to say something else...but then i saw you. I'm a mom of an autistic daughter. She's non verbal, so you can understand the challenges she has. Ill be the first to admit that I'm not the perfect parent. I sometimes loose my patience. And i worry that im just as emotionally unavailable to her at times, and she to me. But we just take it one day at a time. Because as you become self aware, its hard to be aware of what's going on around you. And sometimes whats going on around you aint always good. All i can do is try to be a better person than i was yesterday, and do my best to protect and advocate for her. And i hope that you have that support system too. And the universe has your back. Even if its shoving you from back there. 🎶just keep swimming just keep swimming🎶 and i will keep you in my prayers.❤🤗🌈 oh yeah! I forgot to tell you, Ive been the dolphin too!! Pile 3: How do you not take life seriously? Isn’t it a privilege not to take life seriously? Life for many has been poverty, addiction, disease, abuse, death and pain. This is an honest question from someone who is only 32 but has nearly died more than once and will have an unpleasant chronic disease till the day I die. I’m kept alive with pills. I watched my dad die slowly of cancer and had to take care of him by myself without help and the memories and pain haunt me daily. I don’t know what to do with my intrusive memories at this point and it makes life difficult at times. I have a great sense of humor and a lot of people wouldn’t know any of this about me. How do you NOT take life too seriously?
You could start by not taking your issue out on complete strangers online… not that my opinion matters unless other people feel the exact same way though, right? Now, despite my opinion being nothing but rubbish to you, I am still incredibly sorry for your loss and struggles. It sounds like you’re a fighter and have survived a lot of difficulties and I hope your life changes for the better and that your physical and mental health issues improve immensely and become easier for you to manage and overcome. I initially felt called to no.1 but was not able to watch it right away so when i came back to it another one called me and i was unsure, but went with one, and then you started talking about how if this thing you were going to say did not feel correct to pick another one and then you talked about the fear of being seen, which is one of the things i'm currently working on and wow. thank you.
