another way to add in copper is the little bits that end falling off and sinking to the bottom especially when your trying to blast out a tree top looking deal which I like using a shell chase as the base and if I dump amps in with where I want it to grow pointed at my anodes. it makes these crazy growths then ill crank the amps way down and let it slowly grow and rotate it from the anode so it wants to plate more than grow but I like the crazy coral shipwreck looking stuff especially after you get a little patina on it

These are such valuable question. I also want to know if you calculate the inch of anode with surface area too or just inch length into bath?
Would be great to get some replies from Jason or other experts to my question and others

oops! I left my anode in for a few months while dealing with surgery and health issues. Gonna go clean it all up now!

I had a batch of rings turn out glittery and they look really cool. Lol
It was my last batch with dirty tanks before clean up. I thought something got in the tanks or ?
Over saturated sounds more logical. 👍

Perhaps I'm barking up the wrong tree but what if you like the glittery finish? How do you make it happen on purpose?

This is very helpful! For option A How long do you recommend leaving a piece in the bath at .34 amps per inch to balance your liquid?

Would anyone know why the copper would not stick or hold in the mold 💯. And why it comes off when I file it. 😢

I believe your amps are to high for the square inch so it’s attaching super quick aka flake. If it’s organic material be sure it’s sealed prior to the bath.
