First I'd like to say I researched long and hard prior to buying the Edge X, and to this day have absolutely no regrets in my purchase. Very versatile and solid machine. I've also converted two of my fellow artists over to FK Irons. My question is on the 3 bearings holding the drive bar (where it swivels). When I purchased mine these awesome info videos weren't in flow yet, and there was only one available of a gentleman showing you how to break the machine down and do a thorough cleaning. Yet nothing was covered on how tight or where the ball at the beginning of the shaft was to be as far as alignment to the bearings and three set screws.
Ah that awesome, own that type of machine & love it! but bummer this video does't have a closed caption for deaf or hard of hearing tattoo artist, hope ya guys set up cc for your videos. It will able help a lot and less frustrating for us, makes it easier understand the machine better..
How much oil there should be in the magic oil bottle, because when i received my new machine, bottle was almost empty and there is oil inside plastic bag... it's been leaking insside plastic bag
Hi. I may be confused and im not arguing im just interested to know. 7.5v for lining is 93cps. I kniw this because 1 cps = 1hz. And by hearing the machine and using a frequency generator 7.5 tunes in to 93 hz.. this is how i get an idea of the machine speed at various volts. Its just seems really low for lining. 10v is around 130cps which seems more reasonable or from 115-130cps for lining. Id just like somebody to explain as my lines would be very faint at 7.5v even with a slow hand speed. Thanks gaston. Great machine whatever the outcome of this overly in depth question lol
What can i say, after i bought one and it was my first cartige only machine i felt my work went like to the place i could Care about the painterly backgrund more than about the technical issues, after a month of using it i Got a best of show, yeah from zero to hero, fucking Insane how it fits my workflow. Cant really find a good shading piont, but im packing COLOR every way possible! Nów for the cons, my first machine felt, slider broke etc, becouse of toll issues etc i didnt send it to the US from Europe , becouse it could stay at the border, Please do send all spare parts to the old continent Please, it took me 6 months to find a slider In Europe ffs Anyway , im a fan, keep on the good work, cheers
Que precio tienen en Norteamérica y envíos a Colombia acá tienen un costó muy elevado y manejan mucha imitación quisiera comprar algo ORIJINAL y duradero. No confío el los distribuidores locales
@@tattoosbyjohnsimsek8429 actually its not problem with technical knowledge for me i have doing tattoo for about 9 yrs now , i like to play with stokes . So i thought this machine will good to work with both strokes and cartridge also , why do you say that direct ! Is there any options to change or to maintain on functional way . Anyway thanks for reply ✌🏻

I've been skeptical about fk but I'm impressed with the edge x. Great job

I line at exactly 7.5
Recommended voltage for color packing?
On your site some power supplies say "compatible with rotary or coil" does this mean it's still compatible with cartridge?
No it means that it can be use with rotaries including cartridges and electromagnetic traditional machines.
