- I've been wanting to start this huge project ever since I was working on Monolithos, which I finished 5 months ago. And now I've finished the first 1 minute and 38 seconds of full deco for this level. The idea/concept for this is a zoomed out part. Basically, the screen scales down to 60% and most of the gamemodes are going to be technically mini-sized. However, because all the objects are scaled down as well, it will feel like a normal sized gamemode.
I've also been trying to keep in mind of object usage this time. This whole preview showcase ONLY uses 24740 objects for a 98 seconds long part, which imo is pretty impressive. Hence why the parts shown is a little bit emptier, but I wanna make sure that this level is playable at the end without a need for 4GB patch. That's my goal I'm aiming for.
By the way, this project will be pure 2.1 only. No 2.2 stuff will be in this level at all. Not even using 9999 groups, nor even the 2.2 editor itself. This means I wanna build this whole level in the 2.11 version of Geometry Dash. I didn't really think RobTop would release 2.2 very soon a few months after I started this project. I don't really wanna abruptly change ideas just to account for the 2.2 update. Imagine an alternate universe where 2.2 will never come out. I want this whole level to be possible in 2.1. The thing is, the level will still be tested for 2.2+ and uploaded to the official GD servers once it's finished and verified, that means I'm not uploading this to 2.11 GDPS.

haven't been able to make it to a stream for a while, but this is looking pretty cool so far!
maybe some low opacity animated scale hacked objects or moving glow over everything might help add some more atmosphere (tho I'd keep that subtle) cuz it does feel a little static (especially the wave) but I'm 100% expecting this level to get wilder as it goes so I'm super looking forward to seeing the later parts! :)

Are you top demonslayer? If not, than you never beat it, cause 15 minutes of full top 150 extreme demon gameplay will not let you enjoy this level.

@@ИльяКрымов-э3цI've beaten some top 30-20 ish demons, and according to my experiences, the biggest fun when playing an extreme demon is the struggle, not the completion, the completion might feel satisfying, but it only lasts for like, a few hours.
also he said "play" not beat, I've never completed tidal wave, but it's quitw fun for me

I think it looks really cool! As for feedback, I would say the zoomed-in gimmick is awesome, but honestly the decoration itself (e.g the block design, air deco, general vibes) seems too similar to your previous levels, especially the part at 0:40 to the end. Like I think that very "airy" vibe has been done a lot so it would be cool to see more gritty / alternate styles in other parts of the level

I think so too, cuz if the gameplay is also extreme demon difficulty I think the full level may end up very high on the demonlist (maybe even top 1) due to the length, and I don't ever think jonathan wanted to make a level that hard

A 15 minute long extreme demon honestly just sounds like a big nope. I can't imagine how annoying this would be to play, especially if you consistently die 50%+
Interesting concept, I like the everything in the level so far. Only idea I could give is, have you thought on giving any texture to the black frame which surrounds the actual gameplay? Maybe in a section of the song which gets more dramatic.

Honestly don’t see the point ever to make a level this long. Robtop should do a level length cap bc 15 min is ridiculous tbh any level longer than 4m is too much

15 minutes of this difficulty is insanely hard
Feels like 15 minutes is too brutal for an extreme demon, but I'm guessing the difficulty would come from the endurance rather than skill. Though with those timings so far I'm not really sure, so, good luck!
No way I'm ever going to be able to beat this. I'm bad enough at 2XL levels already without them being incomprehensibly far out of my skill range.
