Extreme Light Wind Laser Sailing || Reacting to a Subscriber's Video

Laser sailing in nearly no wind can often be frustrating, and feel like a bit of a lottery. In this video, I break down some footage from a subscriber of racing in less than 5 knots of wind, and point out some of the techniques you can use to master these conditions.

I started Lasers in 1974 in Colorado, extreme light air...I would stand at the mast pre start...then sit on top of Cboard..

A lot of those tacks would be called illegal and the fellow in the lead ...69 really fouled as he continually heeled his boat and brought it back to increase speed after the leeward rounding. No one will race in these conditions anyway. IMHO

Yes you're 100% right, many rule 42 violations here, but you're also never really going to race in these conditions
