They tried all sorts of Corn Dogs like sugar coated corn dogs with mozzarella, ramen corn dogs with sausage and mozzarella, potato corn dogs with sausage and mozzarella, and a Flamin' Hot Cheeto corn dogs! As a Korean American guy, so us Koreans don’t call it a corndog because it doesn’t have cornmeal. We just call it a hotdog because again it doesn’t have cornmeal. Also, it’s more of a recent thing than something we known for many years since I don’t recall seeing Korean hotdogs as a kid besides few frozen ones I have seen. Other than that, it’s more of a recent trend as I have been to Korea plenty of times and I never have seen it as a street food until like people starting posting it in like somewhere in 2017/2018
Yet again we call it corn dog because that's how we indetify the food

I never liked American corn dogs even as a kid. I just ate them because they were what was available at school. Seeing Korean corn dogs as an adult is amazing. I love them so much.

@@LisaF777 some people prefer the simplicity of American corn dogs. They were always too bland for me, unfortunately.
I say this as a Korean person, we LOVE the combination of sweet and salty. We even have the phrase danjjan danjjan (you HAVE to say it twice, it is mandatory) to describe the taste.
Oh, that was in the KE high schoolers series, but since they used it on the boat ride, I missed the meaning. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the flavor but in mexico we have the "crema y especias" one and the habanero flavor 🤔
In korea they always ask you if you want it with sugar or without sugar.
It's no sugar for me the dough is already on the sweeter side. Sweet chilli sauce and parmesano for toppings!!

As a Korean American woman, I haven’t seen corn dogs until recently.
I didn’t know they were a thing until I saw them in Korean grocery stores.

I’ve made these a few times for my Korean sons and they love them. My oldest really like the hot cheetos the most. I like the Korean version the most because of the combination of the sweet rice flour with regular flour and the cheese and sausage. Simply delicious in my opinion!

I've tasted those before! They are not bad, but I prefer to stick with the traditional corn dog that you get at the fairs/carnivals.

I remember these hot dogs! When I went to LA to see TWICE, I really wanted to try these hot dogs since I’ve seen them so much in K-dramas. I wanted to see if it was good or not. I had the potato one and it did not disappoint. It was so good!
