It is a sad story, but I felt it is what meant to be for in a good reason because you got education degree out of what you went through to support your family. What you did was unlawfully and you know I know so others, but it was not a crime that you were consciously did. It was a necessity duty of a good mom trying to support her own family at a dead end road. The systems understood why you did what you did after they carefully evaluated you and that was the reason you got out in three years. The bright side of your life is you have been able to turn hardship into skills and knowledge to raise your own children.
Thank you for sharing your sad story. I never would've thought of any hmong person doing that type of job back in the early years. Your ex-husband is probably dead. What a sorry excuse of a man to leave his wife and kids high and dry. I'm happy for you now that you have a good husband and your kids turned out well.
Hmmm… I lived in NY for 14 years but I never heard of living in the Mohawk reservation. I wonder which city you guys lived in because I only know the Hmong community in upstate NY. Maybe I know you….🤔
Sister, i understand your situation, but back in your time, welfare for you and your children are very high, welfare give you alot of money...why dont you go apply for welfare...support your family...
You are a brave woman, so proud that you have overcome your past and hope that you inspire people to be better and direct them to a good life.
