White Lily didn't choose to become Dark Enchantress, she fell into some mixture and was re-baked. Corrupted Pure Vanilla is from another timeline, as ours and him co-existed in the earlier story. Pure Vanilla used Crescent Moon (But since there's no records of the "crescent" one outside of a Creampuff's dialogue, let's just say Dark Moon) to seal Dark Enchantress loong ago, something would have happened to him before Beast Yeast. There's eye part miight be right though, in Pure Vanilla's memories in the cutscene, there's eyes almost everywhere... In the Vanilla Orchids, In the Flowers at the academy... Perhaps yes... Shadow Milk was seeing him (And White Lily, but just at the academy so far) all along. They haven't divulged into that part of the story yeet

What do you think about the fact that in the 4th anniversary documentary they called Shadow Milk "the origin of magic"? Additionally, in his gacha animation he appears holding a wheel with the magic symbols of Fire, Water, Wind, Grass, Ice and Lightning, same forms of magic that Fire, Sea Fairy, Wind Archer, Millennial Tree, Frost Queen and Stormbringer use. In addition, the symbols for Light magic and Dark Moon magic appear on the same diagram.

I think shadow milk has no cost on dark moon magic because shadow milk is the creator of dark moon magic. In the developers’ commentary, they said shadow milk is a master and origin of magic.

@crackeddarkcacao Since the translation and voice actors are different, KR stories give a little bit of different styles of character than EN stories. KR gives a less playful (less clown-like) feel than EN, giving the character a bit more seriousness. (Sorry for my bad English skills)
