- In this video we'll be taking a look at why some lifebuoys are heavier than others. Lifebuoys are a critical piece of ship life saving equipment, so it's important to ensure that each one has the correct specification.
For further information about lifebuoys, MOB light and smoke signals, or anything else relating to safety on board ship, please refer to the LSA Code. A copy of this should be available on the Bridge of your vessel.

These lifebuoys always seemed to decorative then functional, I guess that is a good thing, meaning no man overboard, good job for all those yachts out there.
I'm going to add a few video suggestions myself;
1 - How do you go about creating a to do list?
2 - How do you go about deciding what work to do a any given day?
3 - Collaborating with your colleagues for content from the other departments on board. They don't need to be on camera, but I'm sure their information might be valuable to you and your viewers.
Again keep up the good work.

Imagine the MOB being hit by a 4kg life buoy. The thrower must be very carefull with that 😝

Hello Wayne. Aside from their experience, nothing. The RYA issue different Yachtmaster certificates depending on whether the candidate chose to do motor or sail, but once you progress to MCA qualifications there is no distinction.
