    I really like the clear hood. I am pretty sure that Josh does have a sharp blade. It is still inside the unopened box of blades that he bought 10 years ago. He plans to open the box and use a new blade in another 10 years when his current blade is what he considers dull.

    Those googly eyes and that lower horizontal vent in the grill make the Fordyce look really concerned! I love it :D
    Also congratulations on having a set of Roosts to spare. I have a set on my Ripper and constantly regret that I didn't buy more of them...

    I like the motor window a lot! Looks great.
    But I really don’t see how the lightweight transmission gears are going to give you $33 worth of more performance?

    • @chevyon37s
      @chevyon37s 10 місяців тому

      I view the light weight gears not so much as an advantage in the running gear of the rig, as most people will never be able to tell the difference in efficiency or increase in throttle response from it being easier for the motor to spin them. But rather a reduction in weight and lowering the COG of the chassis.
      As for worth the $$ for performance gain… up to the user. This is more of one of those last little bit of performance items, that the value can only be seen once you’ve reached the limits in other areas of performance gain. And doing these gears in combination with the wheel weights is a good way to.

    Isn't it a bit pointless adding the lightweight front gears and then adding brass rings because what you saved on rolling mass with gears you've now added more to the wheels 🤔 is that right or am I getting it wrong?

    • @scalebuildersguild
      @scalebuildersguild 10 місяців тому +1

      More weight down low makes sense to me. I'm increasing the efficiency of the transmission, and placing that weight where it'll matter more.
