Sega needs to make new segata sanchiro comercial about the latest sonic game. They might sell sky rocket like the saturn, and segata would saved sega once again.
There are rumors: what when Segata will TRULY return, Sega will release new console and become one of the biggest market of home consoles again.
Why not just put him in the game? After all, he IS alive on Mobius right now, and he DID lose to Sonic in that tournament.

segata sanshiro is my hero. the first game i played was The House Of The Dead on a sega saturn and all my friends told me the games sucked as much as the console and i wished some gamer would kick their asses. that i started watching japanese comerçials because people told me they were funny and i met my hero: SEGATA SANSHIRO!!!
