- Tobias Moss, witty and wise, is the focus of the 2nd interview of the Goa Hippy Tribe documentary video series. Tobias leads us through an amazing life journey, from good London Jewish boy to overland traveller and Goa resident and back again to British political party founder. His story is truly inspiring, overcoming drug addiction and finding the humorous side of life along the way.
Sitting watching this youtube video of Tobias' interview filmed in Anjuna Beach, Goa in 2010. He was a good friend of mine since 1970. We first meet in Kathmandu and then in Goa a few months later. We remained in touch ever since. We visited each other in our respective countries and had some good times together. When in London we would drive down Portobello Rd. in one of his Karma Kars blowing all his horns and whistles. The local street vendors would yell and cheer Tobias, Tobias.! He died before his time because he foolishly poisoned himself with some "exotic" drug from So. America made form the Bufo Toad. He is greatly missed by those that knew him and London will never be the same again. Especially for me! RIP T-Bird.

Brian, do you remember Bobby's Tea Shop at the north end of Anjuna Beach from 1971 to 74? If so please contact me. Also, does anyone know of the whereabouts of John Myles (sp?) who had a house a short walk back from the south end of Anjuna Beach in the early 70s? He was from England originally, had long blond hair & was a long time resident at Anjuna - last saw him in spring of 1974. My name is Jack & I was an Anjuna Beach resident for about 1 1/2 years from late '71 through spring of '74 - I had "the ruins" at the north end of Anjuna on the north side of the road a minute or 2 walking distance from the beach at the north end of Anjuna & also a palm branch tepee on one of the ledges at the far end of Anjuna.

hey Jerry Garcia swore by coke...it wasn't good for his body...BUUUT...it didn't seem to stifle his creativity...at least not til he landed in a coma...but have you ever seen his paintings?...he was a very porductive artists...visualy and in audio formats...some adddicts use drugs to kill pain...but others fule their creativity...it doesn't work for everyone and you have to have a great deal of natural talent to begin with...you can still end up dead, poor, or crazy and often all 3 but you can..
