Tank Transporters hauling new Ajax armoured fighting vehicles for the British Army 🪖

- Watch a number of different Ajax Infantry Fighting Vehicles being hauled by tank transporters with the British Army. This video is of the same vehicles shown from different angles on different days.
These include the standard Ajax varient with the large gun and the Ajax Ares.
The vehicles were transported by Oshkosh 1070F Heavy Equipment Transporters (HET) aka 'Tank Transporters' operated by FTX Logistics Ltd, and 19 Tank Transporter Squadron.

They are not Tanks. They are infantry fighting vehicles. Challenger 2 is massive with a 120mm Gun.
@@jamesglass4842 If it is a tracked vehicle with a cannon on top, it's a tank. I didn't say a 'main battle tank'!
Stick a bulldozer on the back if you want. It was the Cat 3 truck and its trailer which I found impressive.

We did not have civilian vehicles as part of our convoys in the early 1950s!,but there were despatch riders at the front and rear.
Doors swinging on the oshkosh on back of trailer 😮 be a nice kinked wing when arrives ouch! Hope there's no weapons left inside or anything that's liable to fall out into wrong hands!
I use to drive them oshkosh when I was serving and based in Bulford.
These Okosh haul ass through the road. They are very valuable in the US due to their heavy capability.

I'm sure there all electric in line with government policy. Not much mentioned about the huge amount of co2 emitted by the military and other governmentally controlled assets.
