    thank you. this is exactly my thought also and I already stepped into making similar one. but using Wheelchair motors. and metal welded frame instead.

    Really great build, thank you for sharing. I can't say for sure but it looks like your wheel hubs have a 1/2" bore but the motor shaft is 3/8"? Did you print an adapter sleeve to fill the gap or did you use a bushing adapter of some sort? I am planning on printing an adapter out of PLA and am just curious if you took the same approach and if it worked for you. Thanks again, looks like a really great project.

      Hi. Thank you. Yes, I used a steel spacer bought at the local hardware store (Lowes) and used it as an adapter sleeve. If you look closely at the hub you will see that spacer. Your approach of 3d printing it would also work.

    Trying to choose plywood or steel framing with aluminum covering.

      Those are motor drivers not esc

      @@amosto7862 Hi, its SyRen 10A motor controller. You could go for higher Amperage. You could also go for sabertooth motor controllers.
