I’m not 100% sure but I assumed the world champion made that play because he had swords up and dmoc could not attack also potentially playing around dimension fusion dmoc being banished could and returning from out of play and recurring a spell could just end the game

The deck i never perform well with. Never truly played it or gave it much effort. You look at the deck and think thats a glass cannon. Nice to see reckless greed get play. Ive been thinking of just adding it in decks.
Its not that bad especially if you are also playing solemn judgement you can peek the hand and narrow down your negations. Also there is a realistic possibility that there just werent better cards in the deck. Players rarely side for RGT at the higher level of play these days and the expectation of that deck being in this event was incredibly low

Your WC didn't side at all his dust shoots... Playing dust shoot against rgt what for 😂 For hitting out of the 7 monsters etc etc JUST a random cannon soldier?Also the sorl was questionable... Rgt plays at least 2 trunades. Add the heavy,the mst and some random dust tornados. See how i mentioned 2 things that a real WC can't do.

People will call reasoning gate unfair and then play 3 dustshoots and a duo. Personally, this style of play seems much less offensive to me.
I feel the same way duelist will duo dustshoot pot bls and ring you and then get sacked by dmoc an claim its unfair
To win a tournament you need to get lucky, and deck does really well with some luck
