Unlike some attorneys she knows the case isn't about her, it's about presenting the case to the jury and letting them decide. She's very thorough and methodical.
What absolutely BAFFLES me, is when officers are processing a crime scene, they KNOW what questions the defense is going to fire at them in court, they KNOW any misstep will be thoroughly torn apart and "no" should NEVER be the answer yet they perpetually disregard these facts and proceed to look stupid and incompetent on the stand EVERY. DAMN. TIME.!! I've NEVER understood it!... 🤔😕
@@charliecharlton9782If it was 1978 or beyond, I'd agree whole heatedly! But even without our current technology, records are so precise and meticulous there's no room for excuse; NOTHING is left up to memory and the line of questioning I was referring to isn't memory based at all...
I watched day one last night. The house the mom and sons lived in was a very nice house. She was obviously depressed, that's why she shopped all the time. My point of this comment is to say, between three grown sons, or at least the two living there, they could have gotten up from watching TV all the time while home and gotten that place picked up. Even the slower son was able to function at a job for 20 years, so he could have helped. Even, if only their own rooms.
@@holylandfan3275 I agree 100% The more I watch of this trial, the more I feel so bad for the mom. She was definitely hoarding which can go along with depression. I wonder if it started to happened after her husband died? So sad
@@amyadams2945 I agree, the stuff in Hartung's house is sickening. People don't understand this junk brings on demonic spirits and curses. Creepy as it gets. I had wondered the exact same thing about if the mom began obsessive shopping after his death. They were married a long time. I think Hartung (if I remember or heard correctly) was 7 when his step-dad came into the picture. The detective said in the interview, it was $6000 in a month. That some crazy shopping right there!!! 😮
Ummmmm anyone else find it a surprise Cadaver Man is into the Occult? All the books with the pentagrams on the front...all the candles...the Ouija Board kinda nailed it for me. The braided thing hanging on the wall was probably Sweet Grass. I have one myself. It's usually used to cleanse evil spirits, etc. He's just toooo creepy.
And yet the photos of his home show his sweet boxer dog running around and not harming anyone. She is clearly loved. He left her safely at home when he went to do the murders, and he left food and water for his mother's dog after the crime. Anyone who loves dogs cannot be all bad! I hope those precious animals have all got loving forever homes, it's very sad for them that their lives were turned upside down, and they lost their humans.
Personally, I’m not seeing that the defendant did it. I’m trying to keep an open mind to see both sides... innocent until proven. We all have family issues and just because he has different beliefs that doesn’t make him guilty...... YET.
I understand everyone deserves a trial if so desired but this is little more than a field trip from county jail for him What could he possibly lay the odds of a NG verdict at 1/5million ?
If I am not mistaken, what they are giving testimony about, happened 4 years before the trial. I am sure that they had plenty of other cases that they worked in that period of time and I am pretty sure most of us would not remember everything. Try and describe a day at work ( because that is what that day is for them ) from four years ago and see if your memory is also " selective" as you say
My recollection is they have also shown, by the testimony of the police officer that the defendant, by his own statements, said that he was at the house the day when they were killed. Also a neighbor said that he left late at night, which was unusual, and drove out without his headlights on. They have also shown that there were no signs of a break-in or burglary. There may be others but...
I just gasped out loud as we continue and now a weegie board at 20:31. They practise sorcery and satanism. They brought a curse upon their family with this junk. Also the owl, hair braid on the wall and the moon curtains. People open up the door for demonic spirits.
That hair braid and the necklace are probably from a couple of other victims from his rituals. Hung on wall like trophies. They needed to take those, if they didn't, and run DNA and compare to missing children or other missing people around the area he is in. You really have to be VERY CAREFUL who you talk to.
Wow. It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant people truly are about witchcraft, Wicca, and paganism. They do not equate to evil, satanism, and demonic activity. And by the way, it's Ouija, not "weegie."
Antique Macabre thank you. Agreed. I see general Wicca books and tools and indigenous (native Indian) items including drum, feathers, basket, necklace etc. Nothing “satanic”. Nothing weird or scary there. Case against defendant looks very strong. His guilt or not has nothing to do with Wicca/paganism or indigenous spirituality. Also, I hope the victims’ and defendant’s dogs were taken care of
Murdered his mother and two younger, adult, half brothers. They shared a mother, different fathers. The murdered sons were in their 40's both living with mom. None of these men have been married or have children. The oldest wasn't to get anything when mom dies so he took care of mom and brothers leaving him the sole beneficiary. The youngest son was special needs and the other worked as some sort of computer tech job for DHS, Dept of Homeland Security. So there is an added extra mess of things that should be kept classified staying that way. The defense for the old man is trying to create doubt that he murdered them and could possibly be a gov. cover up. The problem is Hartung was too sloppy, they seem to be grasping for technicalities to save him from the death penalty.
Miss Jennings is doing another fabulous solo job prosecuting this monster!
She's extremely competent. I doubt that anything would take her by surprise, or if it did that she couldn't handle it easily.
She is so smart and poised and on top of every detail.
I’ve had the pleasure of watching her in person, prosecute case if she’s awesome.
Thanks for quick upload.
Love this prosecutor
Me too! If you haven't seen her in the Ashley McArthur case, I highly recommend watching it. She was brilliant!

Money is the root of all evil

But, demonic.

If the defendants mother was 77 and he is 63 she had him when she was 14. Anyway he looks like he could be 80
The defendant was 58 years old when he killed his mother who was 77 which makes it she was 19 when she had him I think
Definitely he looks 80+ and creepy
sumathis sooo creepy!
One of the symbols on the paper with the star he drew means money.. which is quite interesting
He looks like an old version of Macaulay Culkin from the film Home Alone...
old, creepy version :D
What a shame Wayne your mother loved you more than anything why why ,We miss you aunt Bonnie and the boys two May God have mercy on your soul Wayne.

I try to keep an open mind but all that witchcraft and occult material so prominently apparent in his home is not a good look for the defendant.
Chuck Rosseel I knew someone who found some books on witchcraft . Pure evil. She had a very scary experience due to ‘practicing’ !
pauline105055 cadaver man an apt name for this killer
Samantha Schilling I always say look in the eyes! Creepy Donald has exhibited some smirks, almost smiles at times. Who does that; besides pure evil?

Blood on the defendants shoes is a clear indication that the defendant was there at the house.
If the blood at defendant's home belongs to any of the victims, I beg to differ.
Reminds me of O.J...

Ashley McArthur
Thank you so much
