I mean technically a huge part of the respect the Starks have is because of the centuries of ruling family they have. I mean, it literally goes so far back that some people think they're related to the Knight King. Not a diss or anything, just the truth. The Tyrells and the Targaryens are mainly the ones who fought for their noble titles.

love it, you make the point that it's about being knocked down and fighting back (if you aren't unfortunately killed first) and some interesting parallels, such as Bran and Arya both 'going blind' during their special abilities, which i hadn't thought of. Hmmm arya stark went through the worse then sansa see i know you are going to say sansa was raped an traumatized but at least she ate good food wore good clothes slept in good place so sansa i don't see where she was physically abused and arya was physically abused traumatized etc Arya depended on her own no one did anything for her she had to find her own food went for days whitout bathing dirty hungry Sansa ate good food Arya got stabbed by an evil crazy woman she was saved by another person who helped her and cleaned her wound and stitched it then she got chased by the woman again her wounds opened up again and she was bleeding so badly she left a trail of blood Sansa saw the death of her father only arya saw so many people die after being tortured that she had become used to death she can kill someone and won't feel anything Sansa can't kill anyone it will haunt her Arya got blind and beaten up she had no idea where the woman would hit her she can't see talk less of stopping it
they both suffer. And i don't see why we are doing well she suffer more the the other. Sansa was having food and cloths thats true, but she was beaten in kingslanding in the show we see only few occasions, she was semi striped publicly in front of everyone in tron room. She saw her father and septa heads on the spike. then she was ,,taken" care for by Littlefinger who creeply was attracted to her and treated her not only as pawn but as Catelyn 2.0 in with whom he got a chance to be with. Then she was treaded to Boltons where Ramsay repeatedly raped her and beat her( you can see her bruises). And let's not forget that she was almost raped by the 4 men in King's landing because people were rioting against Joffrey. So yes they both suffer. You remember when she was talking with Littlefinger in 6th seson and she said Not my face, he never did it to my face because he needed Need Stark daughter but to rest of me he did what he liked. Yes Sansa would never kill anyone except that she had a moment when she wanted to push Joffer of the brige. They both made a choices that leaded to thier situacions. Sansa wanted to marry Joffrey and then refuse to go with Brien, Arya seeking vengeance and going to Davos and also turing Brien down. So I still don't see how other faith is more or less tragic than other( ps.: I'm big Margaery and Arya stan and not really Sansa one, I find her interesting but not my type of character stuff)
