I came across this song about the same time that I met my partner. We are here now only a year and a bit later in her home country. All is well. This song speaks to me because of the timing. I think the story this sing tells is of someone who naturally finds it hard to be soft. That's me. But on this one occasion when I met my partner I was smitten. Love is real.

Ngl I’m struggling with these chords, I feel like it’s simple but I legit cannot figure it out 😭
try playing variations of Ab major7 then Eb major7 for the verses, then for the bridge Ab major7, C minor, C7 (i think), Bb major, G minor, Bb major :) ! i might be wrong coz im trying to transpose it from the original but hope that helps a little bit
Personal preference - I think the verses are a bit too literal and under serve the serious sound of the keys.
Other than that, she is amazing.
Like it when she sounds more British vs the cursive accent.
Not enough British singers sound British!
