it's very hard to interview her, but the interviewer did a great job.
That's because Poppy isn't supposed to have a depth , its all surface .
The interviewer was really good. He obviously did his homework on Poppy.

God bless the interviewer! He didn’t focus too much on the spectacle, he just focused on asking GOOD questions. Probably the best interview I’ve seen with Poppy. It also seems he actually did his research. Good for him! I hope he has a good career!

I really like how the interviewer behaved. He treated Poppy more appropriately than many of her other interviewers -- very respectful.
But I still think he seems a little condescending. Kind of talking to her like she's a little kid.

@@phantomfrivolity2169 Yeah. I think he’s probably trying to be nice. If you’re not careful, though, you can be really hurtful if your actions are interpreted some other way. So it’s definitely something to be conscious of.

Her pop music is actually pretty good, but her heavy metal music is awesome. It's just fucking crazy. So many time changes, genre changes, and her super feminine look and voice contrasted with the music is really unique. It changes from pop to metal, to a ballad ,to thrash metal, to something near death metal. She's the most unique artist I've seen in years. I really hope she keeps doing heavy music.

This Interviewer did some research on her! Poor Poppy, she kinda looks a bit uncomfortable with all these obvious questions about "they". The most interesting interviews are herself in a room with a few ppl being perplexed and kinda scare if she is not gonna turn into the Terminator or something. This studio audience really cornered her.

For me, she seems happier now that she is fading away the cutesy pastel style to 'embrace her true self'. Even more now that Genesis, her graphic novel, is being released, explaining the origins of her character.

Haha this guy deserves a pulitzer after being able to sustain an interview with poppy for that long. It was a fluid conversation even though poppy would answer phrases and he would have to shoot like 8483838 questions per minute without them being irrelevant and without losing a thread and making it choppy. Truly masterful
