In this video we upgrade some HHR headlights for my father in-law. Just a quick heads up, you need to have some body fasteners on hand before you start the job. I didn't and that wasted a lot of time trying to find the right ones to fit. A word of caution when replacing any incandescent bulb with LED's. Make sure they're a canbus type, or your cars 'brain' will see an error. Even with a canbus LED, some things may not work. I found after replacing all turn/running lights and headlamps in my '09 HHR, my factory remote start won't work. No error codes or messages.
These are plug and play no problems, as shown in the video! They're still working like new, same as with my F150 LED upgrade video, this brand just 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬!
These Fahren LED lights in have been in this HHR and my truck (ua-cam.com/video/9StvLjiqOlc/v-deo.html) for 2+ years thus far, not a single problem to date. Sounds like you definitely have a problem, but there is no resistor required with these lights, that might be the first thing to fix. I doubt these LED's are the cause of your issues. You might have a failing alternator if your batt light is on.
@@Bladerunner58 they were canbus and fan cooled, sealight led. Hhr doesn't like them. If you haven't had problems yet then just wait. You will. I did everything, even added resistors, new battery and 400$ alt. They killed the battery, took them out and all the problems went away with them

Looks very good
Thank you!
I want to try this. I keep getting the f-ing HID bulbs burning out.
This brand has been holding up great in my truck and in this car, I have no complaints with them at all. Cheers 🍻

Led absolutely trash for hhr, installed good brand, even used resistors and still batt light will eventually come on. Not worth it

I'll bet they weren't a canbus LED lamp.
