  • Hiking up to Castle Craig from Hubbard Park in Meriden Connecticut Vlog. We stopped in my hometown to visit the most popular hike in central Connecticut. The hike takes maybe 45 minutes each way, or you can drive to the top. With views of the town of Meriden, Sleeping Giant, Mt Higby and Chauncy Peak, all from the top of an historical tower, you really can't miss this spot. Just watch out for the "nuclear-waste-green" water in the pond!

About 30 yards before the trail up to Castle Craig (1:29), there's a trail that'll take you up to West peak radio towers. Awesome trail!
