I don’t have an android phone but I constantly have to look up how to do things for an older cousin. You don’t want to know how many things I looked up or how many steps I had to go through. I put in a lot of time and effort but still no incoming or outgoing calls for two days. Then I found you. Now she calls me her “Cousin The Genius” but it’s really you. Thank You!

So far I did the phone one in the permissions were on so that's not the problem ... going to try the others .
Edit .. I can't do the last one because I don't know what is all backed up on my son's computer or not but I'm getting really worried here my only choice now is to try the first one you suggest and hope that works

Network but it says stuff about Wi-Fi and other things but nothing about a SIM card ... ?
It has a message that once you press that button that all actions cannot be undone .
Can you please tell me what's the WORST that could happen ?
It just sounds very drastic when it says the action can't be undone .
Thank you very much! My Dad's phone stopped being able to make or receive calls and I had no idea how to fix it. I was ready to call his provider to see if they could fix it, but had to wait till the next morning, but this fixed everything! Thank you again!

forget all that just remove sim and restart phone after putting it back in probplem fix!!!!

Bro u rest ur sim 2 all data from it and at time of calling u use from sim 1 scam right while watching this video I fucked up my own contacts😊.
I had mint mobile and been experiencing so many issues when doing calls, like it wouldn't ring, it would be all muffled, can't hear people and people can't hear me, I did what I saw on the video and then I made a call crystal clear like new. THANK you.

That network reset does work! It somehow resets the data on the sim as I did the reset on another phone for another device that wasn't working with that particular sim, awesome thanks

The solution could be much simpler.
On a Moto g android phone.
Go into Settings, SIM cards
Make sure Sim is on.
If it is off you will get "voice calls are unavailable" or a similar message.
Aside
You can also turn Mobile data on or off, on the Sim Card page.
On some phones turning the sim card off in Mobile Network will turn Mobile data off AND Calls off.
So, I think it is best to use the Sim Card option to turn the calls on or off and Mobile data on or off as required.

Didn't fix problem. Still can't call out or get calls
thankyou for releasing this video, my dads phone stop being able to call when he was hospitalized and i had no way to contact him other than calling the hospital directly , reseting the network settings got everying up and working again

So I have an issue where I can't make or receive calls but can text and use the internet with my LG G8X. When I try to make calls the phone will act as if its dialing but you won't hear a dial tone. Its just dead silence for about 15 secs and then it will say "Call Ended". This has been going on the past 2 days and my 4G LTE has been in and out when its never lost signal at random and intermittently before. When I do have 4g LTE and at full bars, I still can't make or receive calls. I switched the sim to another and older Huawei Honor 6x android phone and I can make and receive calls. I tried everything you showed in this video and still have this problem. Got any ideas as to what the problem might be?

@@Lenzwalters I actually got the phone to make and receive calls without doing a factory reset. I switched on the setting to allow 2G service and now it works again. I didn't even think 2G was still online here in the US but apparently they are doing some reworking with the cellular network. They took the 3G band offline recently but it appears some areas still have 2G service.
@@jeepinintexas6215 This is awesome. I tried it as well, and it worked. The challenge is just that I can't use the mobile data effectively with 2G Service
@@ebrymot yes I'm having that issue as well. I have a iPhone issued by my employer and use it as a hotspot for when going to be traveling around the area. I have strong 4G LTE service at home so no issues with data in that regard. I'm going to have to just get a new phone that has VoLTE and retire the LG.

After spending HOURS on the phone with my provider,after the provider had me restart my phone a dozen or more times, and after they were still unable to help me, the first few seconds of this video fixed my problem INSTANTLY. I cannot thank you enough for posting this video. May God bless you for helping me and so many others. 🙏 I only wish I had thought to consult UA-cam before contacting my providers and descending into tears and a stress headache. 🙄

Man I'd hug you if I could. It was only a matter of checking the phone app on mine and force stopping the phone services app. Phone hadn't made a call in 2 days but was receiving them fine. Thanks a mil👍

Turn your phone off. Not restart. Turn off and turn back on. That's what worked for me. My phone would go to call ended anytime I tried to call someone, I was locked out of my apartment after a concert lol. It worked out in the end.
My problem was fixed when i turned off data saver mode

Ian using iPhone 11 Pro. My problem many times can’t receive or make calls. When I use *#31# then it works for some time but again same problem.

As an afterthought Moto......why not make a phone that actually makes and accepts phone calls. Just a suggestion. Some phones actually allow emergency calls..
