Singapore for me because just like Japanese, people are nice and you can easily communicate with them. You can ask directions to anyone and they are always helpful while HK locals are so rude.
If you’re on a budget, mag hong kong ka. Kasi mura Accomodation, food and alot of free places to see. As simple as riding ding ding (sobrang mura lang neto hkd 2 lang ata kahit saan ka bumaba) you’ll see the modern and old hong kong tapos meron din ferry ride from tsim sha tsui to central (if i can remember hkd1.50 lang ito). Tapos if you wanna ride double decker bus, ride it from the airport to the city center (if i can still remember hkd 150 lang 2 way na hanggang pag uwi mo walang definite day ung pabalik na ticket sa airport anytime un) MAY FREE WIFI INSIDE THE BUS! Tapos mga pang pasalubong, alot of people kasi sa ladies market in mongkok ang puntahan but ako mas gusto ko sa temple street in yau ma tei mas mura, hindi siksikan AT mas mabait mga vendors kesa sa ladies market makakahingi pa ng discount. May mga outlet stores din sa HK, the famous is sa tung chung. Very accessible ang mtr sa HK, from every station pwede mo sya lakarin sa sobrang lapit nila sa isa’t isa. Kung malaki naman ang budget mo, go for SG. Talagang malinis. Even their hospitality is great. Sama sama in an area ung mga attractions nila there are sentosa island, little india, china town, marina bay, bugis, orchard (for high end), jurong. Sa SG you really have to walk alot! As in alot! I hope this helps para sa mga gusto nag SG and HK! 😊 these are all from my personal diy trips 😊
Hongkong has so much to offer because SG is too hot for me! What I love of SG is I have so many friends and relatives there...If I miss them I would visit SG. But as I said before I would only go out In Singapore during the night. Hongkong is also best in Shopping and you can visit Macau also in 1 full day...I love Disneyland more than Universal Studios...SG airport is much more nicer for me...But HK is a win for me!
Hong kong for me. Then there’s ocean park. Jusko mga nakakaiyak na rides hahahaha
I agree that Hong Kong has cheaper alternatives if you don't want to share sleeping quarters with a stranger. From my experience, Singapore is more expensive for tourists primarily because of accommodation costs (buying "everyday" stuff from McDo, convenience stores, pharmacies, etc are not too bad in terms of costs). The only other cities I have experienced difficulty finding cheap places to stay are US cities that you do not need to drive a car to explore. To make matters worse in Singapore, homeowners or lessers cannot offer their property (or part of it) to rent on Airbnb.
Lahat ng firsts ko sa HK nung March 2, 2018..., first travel, first sakay ng plane, first solo gala, first country to rampa, first time makipagusap sa mga OFW, sa mga random people at makipagkwentuhan... Ung feeling na ay totoo nga the happiest place on earth talaga... 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️
Sana ma notice niyo po yung question ko, I just watched your video, question if Manila to Macau ba roundtrip, paano sa immigration okay lang ba ipakita na yung booked airbnb ay sa hong kong? Pero meron din booked turbojet hk to macau roundtrip
I still prefer Hongkong than Singapore cause hongkong is more vibrant country, they have tiangee cheap prices there, lot of foreigners are going there, many tourists sots specially disneyland the happiest place on earth.at madami kang mapapasyalan at its a shopping paradise.
if you are in hongkong its more free to roam around there and safe not unlike in singapore kahit saan may cctv cameras kahit nasa cr ka ng internt'l. airport as if yung kilos mo nka monitor.
HK for esp during dec-feb season. malamig so very easy at comfy ang travel. SG kc mainit all year round. but the bigger question is, will HK be the same after the events of the past few years?
@@DennisLam-tr5de I just got back a few months ago. HK indeed doesn't feel the same. The night markets are less crowded. The neon signs were less. It like becoming another city in China. Hope the current admin government should do more to make HK more distinct and promote its own culture and uniqueness.
Great video! I've been to Singapore and it was amazing! Hong Kong sounds very similar and would also be an exciting place to visit too. Also, could you tell me, if you know, what the name of the song that starts at 3:37 please and thank you?
Thank you!
Singapore for me. Just because i couldn't stand hongkong people They are very rude. I have encountered many rude staffs/people on my visit there. Unpleasant trip.
Hong Kong people are similar to Koreans and Chinese very gruff and direct. S'pores are more like Japanese and Taiwanese. Orderly and hate confrontations.
@@thepoortraveler that’s true sir. I really want to go to Japan ever since I was young. But due to pandemic, kdrama consumed me. Literal. Kaya gusto ko na rin mag Korea. Hahahha
I went to seoul abt 4x, and japan abt 5x (3x tokyo) I would say seoul wins as im not really into tokyo its way too urbanised. I prefer kanto area (kyoto is my fav, then osaka) Im a girl, seoul is a shopping heaven. Clothes, cosmetics, skin care, shoes, accessories etc etc (i go to seoul every 3yrs just to shop only, im in asia) Food is good but lack of variety, its mostly carbohydrate heavy and most contain gochujang. Cost wise its much more affordable than japan. Food, taxi, clothes are all very2 affordable. There's also more things to do in seoul than in tokyo in general. Tokyo is very urbanised. For food altho i like both but i prefer japanese food more. Their street foods are awesome. Temple wise tokyo is better. More Expensive, couldnt take taxi in tokyo, their taxi rate is more exp than singapore. I didnt shop much in tokyo except snacks So if seoul vs tokyo i prefer seoul. But if japan vs korea, to me they are the same. Both have their own points Kyoto is a truly nice place to visit. Shopping is good! (snacks, house wares, those japanese arts and crafts) Their temples are fantastic Street foods and restaurant are awesome Head over to osaka for their universal studios!!! Better than disneyland although i love both..... Universal studio osaka win abit more due to harry potter theme and rides are more for adults. Ehehehe hope it helps
Both good lah but Singapore survival is never a given and anything can happen if the people of singapore take their stability and economic success for granted. Hk even if they collapse they have china to pump even trillions to save them
Singapore for me because just like Japanese, people are nice and you can easily communicate with them. You can ask directions to anyone and they are always helpful while HK locals are so rude.
Yeah hk locals are rude and selfish
I noticed that too from Ryzza Mae’s vlog when they asked something at the airport cs.
safety cleanliness convenience & food SINGAPORE.
just go to Japan if you want to experience Disney you'll never regret it

Tokyo Disney sea. Star attraction is the toy story mania, can’t get enough of it! Best restaurant Magellan is magical!
Singapore for me. No traffic and easy to travel.
