This is really smart. Ok, so you're not up there with the "big boys" like Fractal and Line 6. So you add cool and useful features and you do them well enough to sound good and be easily implemented. Of course, the key factor is "sound good", and I really think it does.
See this is why I'm Fractal for life. Tone catches are so static. No dynamics at all. Cliff takes the time to mathematically break down every amp & effect to the component level, analyses how every little bit affects the signal, then pushes the signal through cabs (filters) that are absurdly detailed and accurate. This is just an expensive parrot. From a dynamics standpoint all these capture type devices can do is get louder or softer.
can you run the ampero II with the pedal side by side using loops? no pedal in the stage . . for me it's just sad all they really want to cater to is the overprocessed death metal dgent type stuff anymore... can't kill rock n roll so why not cater to that genre as well.. even guitars it seems are all geared to that death metal fuggen iron ore genre . . I know NO ONE that plays that stuff? is that the new push by the elites? first dumb em way down with cRap then pacify them with dgent style garb? I have to go where the creativity is, melodys so forth, lyrics and good vocals, who the fugg can even understand WTF those RAGHGG RAHGGH GRAHHGG doods are even saying? C'MON MAN! to each their own I get it but do they have to gear everything towards that stuff? the big push, I tend to stray from big pushes they all seem to have an agenda behind them?

you shouls capture different Setting of the X88IR and the Jake E Lee Friedman and put it for sale
Soon
This is really smart. Ok, so you're not up there with the "big boys" like Fractal and Line 6. So you add cool and useful features and you do them well enough to sound good and be easily implemented. Of course, the key factor is "sound good", and I really think it does.
Yeah they’ve really stepped up their game. I love the delays too
Tonex totally replaced my kemper😂
Thumbs up but why does the latest X unit have to be killing something. What’s really the “ KILLING” feature of the latest given X unit?🤔
It's close... The first capture was more scooped but definitely in the ball park. I would be completely happy with that.
At this point it’s going to be embarrassing if a new Helix ever comes out and doesn’t have a capture function.
I Need Just a rack version of it 😅
Kemper killed themselves.
What are you talking about, a capture preserves the same dynamics of the target device.
Still the Helix Floor is the best.
Sound thin to my ears 😓
can you run the ampero II with the pedal side by side using loops? no pedal in the stage . . for me it's just sad all they really want to cater to is the overprocessed death metal dgent type stuff anymore... can't kill rock n roll so why not cater to that genre as well.. even guitars it seems are all geared to that death metal fuggen iron ore genre .
Im not a fractal guy but ill tell ya dweezil zappa is getting plexi-esque tones i cannot believe they sound stellar unbelievable!! Id be willing to try one and the Kemper is also really beautiful
Id like to hear how it sounds compared to other modelers! Its really got potential
Updated mine yesterday. Tone catch block uses aprox 80% of all DSP so its kinda useless
Bear in mind, they do firmware updates more frequently (I have the Stage). They pay attention to user feedback in the forums and group pages. I'm certain fixes are coming to fine tune it.
With or without the fine tune?
Can it run a delay, pitch and phaser or flanger in front of the amp block with the tone catch?
