I am Korean who learned Korean and Japanese martial arts. The movie tastes too much political flavors. Japanese don't use sword for bare hands fighting. There is no citizenship in martial arts, but the practitioner. In fact, martial arts people of both countries had relatively best relationship even during the worst Sino-Japan relationship during the early 20 century.
