It was tough and the areas I visited looked super. I just kept digging around. A few feet one way or another is all it takes sometimes and of course Gold is where you find it. Thanks
We decided to do it this Spring as there is so little water in the creek. I am digging a pit higher up that has done us well before. I thought that I could dry-wash it once I had enough material. We have found nice gold this way before. Regardless, I think we have a good bit of real estate. Have a great Holiday season. Christmas and good times will be had despite the Ghoulish Cabal that runs our Gov.org.

Very nice! How did you stay warm over night? One time Amy and I slept in the desert in a tent and froze ,I accidentally cross threaded the part the propane bottle twist on to the Mr buddy heater🙁
It was around 25 degrees. However I have excellent bags and brought my 5 degree bag. Then I placed a very nice wool blanket over the bag. I brought my cot and placed a blanket my daughter made for me under the bag on the cot. I was then well insulated. For good measure I also wore long johns and wool socks. I will be experimenting and practicing cold weather camping this Winter as it does warm up well as soon as the Sun shines, Hope all is well for you and Amy. I have a nice collection of soft difficult to find wool blankets that I had been buying over a period of years. They are all worth many multiples of what I paid. I had a hunch. Best to you.
