  • In today's video we are planting. We started off by amending the soil with some sulfur then we incorporated it. After that we got our motor player in laid down landscaping fabric with drip tube. Now we are ready to plant. We made the horse in the fabric with a torch then we auger the holes out. After this process was done We started planting. We used a 250 gallon tank of water and added some ammonium sulfate and some high phosphorous fertilizer. We added the fertilizer water to the polls and made a very muddy substance. We batted the blueberry plants inside that muddy substance for good soil to root contact. We planted 1200 blueberries in 6 hours.

I like me some blueberries! I have several bushes and have been picking and preserving quite a few, but I'm so fond of eating them I'd like to have 20 bushes.
I hope you have great success with your plants.
    God bless

Thanks, I'm going out and planting 5 potted blue berries after watching your video this morning her in Lufkin, Texas. I've got several wheel barrels of southern pine needles, 3 bags of pine bark mulch, and 50 lbs. of peat mulch, First I'll use a lawn mower cut the grass real low, use a fence post digger, mix dirt and peat moss together, just like you. It did rain here, last night. When I get it done, I'll post photos. By the way, I did live in Belton, MO for 3 years in 86-89. I hope you guys much success.

Farmer Dre, how long will the fabric last and how will you change it out? I am trying to find information about starting a You-Pick farm and am curious about this. Also, can you tell me what bed former are you using to make the bed and plastic mulch layer?

    Hi andre
    Good luck with the blueberries.
We planted 2000 about ten years ago at four foot spacing and we should have gone at least 5ft once they start they really grow.

are you seeing any black tips on new growth or branches turning black at the tips and dying back to the stem of the plant this spring?

Three feet apart is way too close. Are you growing Highbush or Rabbiteyes? Also, I made the mistake of putting peat moss on my bushes one year. Later found out it makes a waterproof coating on the surface of the soil so the bushes don't get enough moisture.

Timeline 7:00 Ammonium Sulfate is okay, but it slows down nutrient absorption. Are you sure about it? Should use organic sulfur.
But… That’s beautiful man! Great job! Make sure you keep them moist everyday for a week. Peat moss is great ( acidic ) watch out for that mulch. It’ll turn fast on your soil. Perhaps, one day you can add vinegar to that 250 gallon watering jug to lower the mulch.

    • @jasonscott7803

Peat moss has a low PH which is what blueberries prefer to grow in, all the best.👍

We all have the greatest illness which is failure of purpose and identity, we all lie, steal, lust-watching porn(which is equal to committing adultery) and hate(equal to murder) and just like a judge who judges offenders so will God judge you but God made a way for you through jesus christ who paid your fine just like someone pays your fine in a court and you are free to leave and so did jesus pay your fine, believe in jesus and repent(change your ways) God will grant you everlasting life as a free gift, Joh 3:16-19 GW 16 God loved the world this way: He gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but to save the world. 18 Those who believe in him won't be condemned. But those who don't believe are already condemned because they don't believe in God's only Son. 19 This is why people are condemned: The light came into the world. Yet, people loved the dark rather than the light because their actions were evil. I Am not supporting religion, mormonism, catholicism, etc but about life when you read the bible you will find a huge difference between the bible and religion Please watch this video it will make more sense ua-cam.com/video/ChWiZ3iXWwM/v-deo.html
