  • MJJC Foam Cannon Pro V1 vs V2 - Is the new one better? I do a comparison between the old and new versions of the MJJC Foam Cannon Pro to see if the new version lives up to the brand’s claims for thicker foam. Also, we compare them to the TriNova, Griot’s Garage Brilliant Finish and MTM PF22.2 foam cannons!

    Using a foam cannon is a technique from the pre-wash stage where you blanket the vehicle with a layer of snow foam, to help lift and encapsulate loose dirt and debris before you do the contact wash. This method is to reduce the chances of getting swirls and scratches in the paint.

      Bonjour je me demandais a quand en français? Merci

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Рік тому

      Il m'est rendu impossible de produire des versions bilingues pour chaque vidéo malheureusement. Une seule vidéo peut prendre 10 à 15 heures à produire, alors tout recommencer en double à chaque fois est impensable. Aussi, 90% de mes auditeurs sont anglophones, donc mettre 100% d'efforts et d'énergie pour 10% des résultats en français n'est pas viable.
      Il faut garder en tête que je ne suis pas le seul UA-camur à parler plus d'une langue, et pourtant, je suis le seul à produire des vidéos bilingues. Ça démontre à quel point ce n'est pas aussi facile qu'on pense produire des vidéos UA-cam.
      C'est la chose la plus difficile que j'ai faite dans ma vie bâtir cette chaîne. Un effort surhumain de plus de 7 ans pour se rendre à ce point. Je n'ai jamais manqué une seule semaine d'afficher des vidéos depuis la création de ma chaîne.
      Ceci étant dit, je continuerai à produire des vidéos françaises lorsque possible. Merci de ta compréhension.

    This is a very impressive improvement! My first thought was the rear of the car might have had some more road film due to being the rear of the car but the hood demo dispelled that right away. They may have overstated some of the benefits of the newer model but they sure made some significant improvement in sheer volume and richness of foam!

    My first cannon was the Griot's brilliant finish based on the last comparison video, but it never worked right, even right out of the box. All it would ever produce was soapy soup. I probably should have sent it back, but I replaced it with the MJJC v2, based on JoshV's claim that it was the best foam cannon he had ever used. It didn't disappoint. Good to see that it's a definite improvement over the v1 unit.

  • @OCDaddyZsolt
    @OCDaddyZsolt Рік тому +3

    Hi Pan, the claims on the box are compared to the standard Foam Cannon S (not the S v3.0) and the standard Foam Cannon Classic. If you have the box of the Pro v1.0 yet, you’ll see the same claims. So the claims on the box of Pro v2.0 are the same as on the Pro v1.0. In the meantime, they’ve released an S v3.0 (not Pro v3.0), which costs the same and performs the same, but have a few differences (colour, the bottle etc.). Tested those compared to each other, in case you are interested. One more thing about the latest Pro v2.0 (which technically should be v2.1, as they’ve made changes to the original v2.0 also): They don’t include the metal mesh anymore, as according to MJJC, you don’t need the spare anymore, just need to run clean water through, when you finished using it. The Foam Cannon Pro is my absolute favourite for some time :) Thanks for the review ;)

    The best just got better. Have both, always loved the V1 but the V2 is awesome. Used the MTM for a while, the small mouth was annoying, the metal top on the plastic bottle would constantly overscrew, and the foam quality was less consistent than the MJJC which gives thick, rich foam every single time. MJJC all the way for me! Apparently the new V3 S model has a quick release cap and the same workings as the Pro V2. Might be worth checking that one out if you haven't yet Pan.

I personally use the MTM and it works well and the parts are easy to replace. The mouth is way to small as I have to use a funnel to poor in the soap. Hey Pan! Thanks for the great video, so appreciate it. In my opinion, its not enough to compare the foams. I think you missed the most important to compare. Which one cleans better??? Thicker foam doesnt mean it cleans better. Please next time take some dirty car and check it by washing after the foam.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Рік тому +2

      We did not talk about cleaning, as that's not the purpose of the video. What does the cleaning is the snow foam, not the foam cannon lol. The foam cannon simply lays down a layer of foam. It doesn't matter if it's thicker or runnier if you're using the same snow foam. What matters for cleaning potential is the actual chemistry of the snow foam itself. And I already have plenty of videos on that topic.

    If a contact wash is always necessary to get rid of the film of dirt anyway,what's the point of foam sitting on the surface? What's the point of foaming anyway? Initial rinse,contact wash seems more logical to me.
